At this meeting I will entertain all my friends with several pictures of horned insects or their Latin name: the Cerambycini tribe, which we can find a lot at the moment in Asia or Indonesia.

Horned insects, also known by their Latin name: the Cerambycini tribe, these insects are a large group of insects belonging to the Cerambycidae family. Horned insects are characterized by long and unique horns which are usually owned by males. These insect horns are usually used to stake out dominance in competition for female mates.

The Cerambycini tribe consists of thousands of species spread throughout the world and now many can be found in Asia including Indonesia, with most of these insects living in tropical and subtropical areas. And insects that are very diverse in color, shape and body size, several types Horned insects have bright colors and interesting patterns, while others have adaptations that allow them to imitate their surroundings.

Horned bugs usually breed in dead wood or disease-infected trees. The larvae of the Cerambycini tribe usually feed on the wood of these trees for years before finally metamorphosing into adult insects. This process has an important role in the ecological cycle of the forest as it helps in the decomposition of organic matter.

Although horned bugs are often considered harmless insects, some species of the Cerambycini family can be pests to gardens and trees. They can damage plants and trees by eating wood tissue which is important for the growth and life of the plant. That's all from me about horned insects.
