This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
It had been a while since I went out to do some street photography and lately I have been busy with several sessions I had pending to edit, but I decided to take an afternoon off to clear my mind a little of those sessions and of course I took my camera with me, so, being in a square I decided to take some pictures, something different from what I was editing the last few days.
Tenía tiempo que no salía a hacer algunas fotografías callejeras y es que, últimamente he estado ocupado con varias sesiones que tenía pendientes por editar, pero decidí tomarme una tarde libre para despejar la mente un poco de esas sesiones y por supuesto llevé mi cámara conmigo, por lo que, estando en una plaza decidí hacer algunas fotografías, algo distinto a lo que estuve editando los últimos días.
It is curious how being in the same place you can come across different protagonists for photographs, from people who are reading a book, people who are walking around the square, people who are working as street vendors and people just resting.
Es curioso como estando en un mismo lugar puedes cruzarte con distintos protagonistas para las fotografías, desde personas que están leyendo un libro, personas que van caminando alrededor de la plaza, personas que están trabajando como vendedores ambulantes y personas descansando sin más.
Also in the square where I was there are some art things, like murals, for example, but this time I could only photograph two of these murals, because in the others there were people and I did not want to disturb them, but I hope to return in the coming days to also share these other murals.
También en la plaza donde me encontraba hay algunas cosas de arte, como murales, por ejemplo, pero en esta ocasión solo pude fotografiar dos de estos murales, ya que en los otros había personas y no quise molestarlas, aun así, espero volver en los próximos días para también compartir esos otros murales.
Another thing you can find in the square are many pigeons, so I took the opportunity to take pictures of them too. So far this post, thank you very much for stopping by one more day. I always thought that the power of BW photography to share stories behind some common images is a lot more powerful than some words would ever describe. Lots of pretty stuff! Good luck in the challenge!
