Walking Somewhere On The Roads Of Downtown Bacnotan (Part One)

in Wednesday Walk3 months ago (edited)

My superiors informed me that most of my 201 files were about to expire and that I needed to process the paperwork right away to avoid being sheltered from our higher-ups and the local government that manages our working status. I hurried to the municipal office building to process the renewal of my working permit and national police clearance. I had obtained my fit-to-work clearance to perform my duties. Here are a few of the photos I took of interesting locations to share with the community when I was making my way to the aforementioned government installation:

The Municipal Trial Court is located in my hometown's Legislative Building Office, which is on the right side of the picture.

Situated next to the Legislative Building is the Municipal Building, which houses the offices of the municipal assessor, municipal treasury, and mayor.

I obtained my community tax certificate, paid the expenses for the municipal trial court clearance, and obtained the mayor's approval from the relevant officers-in-charge before going to the municipal health and sanitation building to obtain my health certificate. For the sake of the economy, everyone in the middle class must go through these procedures in order to obtain a worker's permit card. On the other hand, the government pampers the unemployed, particularly those who are physically capable of working but are picky about the type of work they accept, by providing them with "ayuda," or welfare aids, which I refer to as "siesta payolas."

Following my medical examinations, I made my way back to the location of the legislative and municipal buildings to obtain my national police clearance at the municipal police headquarters, which is housed in the rear of the municipal building.

Next to the municipal police office is the newly erected municipal social welfare and development office building.

Finally, next to the municipal social welfare and development office building is where we can find the municipal fire department, but I haven't seen the firetruck parked on its premises taking some snapshots of this government installation.

But however, I found the firetruck parked in front of the legislative building of which I haven't noticed when I went to the municipal health and sanitation office building. For sure, it went to a routine of preparedness and readiness assessment to check its worthiness to respond in real-life emergency situations.

This is my humble composition for this week's Wednesday Walk by @tattoodjay, and here's my selfie holding my health certificate. I was told to return here in the following days for the issuance of my working permit card because a shortage of the needed materials to print the cards had occurred. Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
Have a great day :)

Likewise, sir. I really miss sharing contents with long captions but I lack the luxury of time and I am still hoping that someday I will be spending more time to stay online.

It is incredible all the places you have had to visit and procedures to do to obtain the work permit card. A lot of bureaucracy. I appreciate that you let us know the photos of this Wednesday walk dear friend @landrover007

Thanks! Yup, a lot of bureaucracy indeed and it's some sort of redundancy as some people posted on Facebook in the past few days that says, We need a national ID to have a national ID and to have a national ID we need to have a national ID so we can be able to have a national ID!
