First things first I would allow a whole month minimum to process the gain and say no to any project or people regardless. This is to ensure the money will best serve my interests and my projects and limit outside influence, new opportunities will always show up.

My primary objective with money is to grow it for the future and reclaim my time in order to allow me to complete my other goals in life that would require a different schedule then standard working hours.
And an increase of my net worth by $1M will speed up that process. I would be looking to invest a third of it toward cashflow generating assets. I would spend time and money building my business and looking to start a side company for IT training, probably including(creating) crypto related courses. A bit of that money would also go to passive assets like EFT and stocks into companies with an international customer base in order to be future proof and not depend on local economics.
Ultimately I will be location independent and I need assets that don't require a physical presence to be run, so anything online or hiring agents to do the job for real estate.
Asset Allocation
Long term hedging :
5% of it to buy physical gold and silver
5% to buy Bitcoin (if under $100k / BTC)
Total $100,000
Passive cash flow :
20% EFT and stocks (looking for high dividend funds but still liquid assets to be liquidate if I see a better opportunity)
15% towards the Hive economy, probably 10% of it going to hive/leo power as speculation into the future), at current prices that would be ($100,000 / 3 =) 333k HIVE power.
Total $350,000
Real estate:
We have a small family building to renovate so I would consider working with family members to create better cashflow for the property (by spiting it in smaller units)
5% ($50,000) towards renovation in exchange for shares of future renting profits
Total $50,000
Personal treat (not necessary and depending on mood) :
1% ($10,000) towards a nice vacation somewhere
2% ($20,000) max towards a new car
Total $30,000
My crazy little project :
8% or $80,000 towards buying a small yacht and gears to prep a 3 years long sailing around the world tour. I recently got my boat licence and I still have a lot to learn before doing that. I would also need to have my business setup in order to work some of the time from anywhere.

As I said before
33% $330,000 toward building an online business for extra cashflow doing something I enjoy.

I would spend the last -60k on charities and keeping a bit of cash around.
As a closing remark I have to say this challenge is fun and I welcome it as a way to use improve my writing and i will keep the rest of my feedback for the 10th of February themed "experience and feedback".

This is a good roundup. One million dollars potentially invested well. $50k into real estate sounds good, i guess buying would be more expensive, but you potentially plan to spend the money on more investment which is actually more good. Silver and gold are solid investment.
