Kind of feel bad about selling some hard earned SPS especially with the price falling down so much but I wanted to try the new leodex interface which just got live with SPS and DEC.
Step 1: claiming SPS rewards
Most of those rewards are liquid sps so I will use that to swap using leodex.io
You can claim your SPS using the CLAIM ALL button at the bottom right corner which will give you both stacking reward and land reward is you have some.
I will also take the opportunity to harvest all rewards from my lands, it is my only activity on splinterland at the time as I haven't actually played with cards in a while. Lands are great to still be part of the game and economy with a more passive game.
Step 2: Transfer SPS to Hive Engine
In order to do the swap using leodex, you have to deposit your hive into hive-engine. You can access that by clicking transfer from the previous screenshot which will bring you to this page.
Using the drop down menu you can swich the the destination address to Hive Engine which will deposit to your hive address on Hive-Engine using the Hive account linked to splinterlands.
In this case I am transferring 3k SPS.
Step 3: Go to leodex and swap
Go to https://leodex.io/ connect with your existing wallet, don't forget to use your hive wallet account as this isn't pre-selected.
Select SPS and you token of destination like CACAO or BTC (if you change enough tokens to cover fees), at first I wanted to swap SPS to HIVE but realized that this conversion isn't possible if of the same chain (that my view from the error I got, I need to research this a bit more).
I guess the way to do it would be with 2 different swap.
Step 4: validate transactions using wallet like Hive Keychain
Once you pressed swap it will ask you for authorization to approve all transactions one by one.
In this case it asks for 3 authorization.
I went through all but got an error at the end which didn't impact the transaction from what I could see 
I also noticed numbers don't seem right for the amount of LEO from the HIVE to LEO swap, I guess it is just a front-end error.
In the end I still did get the right amount of CACAO in my wallet. I had 2 left and got 35 from the transaction.
Everything happened fast and is working. A bit of mixed message on the front-end but since the pool didn't exist last year, I think it is good enough and will only keep progressing.
Everything took me less then 15 mins to complete including time on the Splinterlands website and I actually got the Cacao in my wallet.
