When, I first read on his blog that he was going to write a book, I thought of an economics textbook.
When he released the Prologue and chapter 1, I got a bit confused about the whole concept, but I had an inkling that something big was going on here.
Not until I came across one of his contests to help advertise the book on hive, a quiz of sorts, this needing me to go read the story, did I realize and fully understand, the depth, width and overall size of the world @spectrumecons had built.

Plot
Welcome to Sapey in the planet Sapia, a place where you are safe. Citizens here need not worry for anything because everything has already been provided; food, shelter, clothing, education and even a job.
Yet there's one thing missing, and Darius knows it, that thing is freedom. He joins a group of people,"The Inquisitives", in their search for freedom which goes in defiance of the well state out rules. This decision, changes his world, and the world of many others, forever.
Like I said before, I never expected @spectrumecons to write a story, nevertheless one of such depth, I just didn't think he had it in him.
A writer of economic articles, long articles, yes. But this was a whole new thing, and it was a great thing!
The story had a couple of themes and characteristics which I liked.
What I Liked
- Characters
When writing a book or story, the choice of characters are fairly important, as these are the tools which would help carry your story across.
He chose a great array of characters, from protagonists to antagonists and in-between. Everyone is realistic, as human as can be, even with the unsavory habits some of the antagonists have, that in and of itself is still human.
The character choice was remarkable, the humanity of them all helped further the plot, and made the story that more interesting.
- The Plot.
Sapiens Loop has a great plot. A story about freedom and a fight against a government that withholds such a right is one that can be drawn in different ways.
Yet he drew his in an exquisite way, leading on the reader and tailing them to the end.
The plot graduates to a story having various openings and side stories that simply stupefies the reader in a good way. An even better thing is that all openings are well covered by the Author.
The book is simply marvelous, I've read a number of books on hive, from quite a number of hivers and this one is unique, just beautifully unique.
If I was to name 2 things bad about this book is the lack of character detail.
The way the characters look weren't properly introduced. Well except Orcille which we know had a tragic accident when he was young.
Another small minus is the fact that the hive version of the book doesn't have an index of the chapters.
It's not a really big issue but an index just increases the reader experience for those reading on hive.

The book is also on Amazon, where one can get it and read the whole story without going through the hectic process of clicking off posts and clicking on posts.
I recommend y'all to read it, either the hive or Amazon version, it's too good not to.

The limitations of reading the book on Hive are somewhat deliberate as I need to offer some incentive to buy the book rather rely purely on the free version.
