Room With Garden View

Because I am a sea lover and admirer, I always want a sea view every time I go to the sea. The sea is hundreds of kilometers away from my home and on the few days a year when I am close to it I would like to see it all the time. Even when I sleep I hope to dream of the sea...

The other day I made another short trip, my second this year, to the same place, Bulgaria, to Balchik, in the same hotel where I stayed in January, at the Lighthouse Golf & Spa. It is a big hotel and far from the city, 7 km away.

I couldn't find a room with a sea view, it made me unhappy. In all my holidays in Balchik, I stayed in rooms with only a sea view. Now I only got a room with a garden view and felt like a traitor... but my wife loves green.

I have to say right now, at the beginning, that I was a traitor. I loved the view!

Golf courses

There's something special about this hotel. It is part of a golf complex, dedicated primarily to golf lovers and golfers. I have no tangent with golf. I don't play golf or even know the rules, and obviously, I don't have the necessary equipment.

The hotel is full of golfers, especially from Western Europe. here in Bulgaria, it is probably cheaper, but some people can afford a lot, even a helicopter.

I can say it's another world that I'm not used to. What I could see from the balcony was interesting but also very beautiful. The almost endless expanses covered with grass and trees (I was trying to disregard the rental apartments built right in the middle of the golf courses, in my opinion, a mistake that slightly alters the gorgeous scenery) were a delight and made me forget that I was there for the sea.

To the sea!

Either way, the sea calls you, no matter where you are. I felt this call, of course, and had to cross to the opposite side of the hotel.

IMG_0301.jpg

I'm "dying" for roads that seem to spill into the sea. Here, of course, is an optical illusion...

IMG_0292.jpg

Because there was still a long way to go to the sea, along winding paths...

IMG_0322.jpg

IMG_0324.jpg

Even if this path does not reach the sea, here is another optical illusion. This path only reaches the edge of a ravine where our walk ends, only the free gaze can admire the landscape.

The Black Sea is blue!

IMG_0328.jpg

This is the Black Sea which is, in this case, blue!

It depends on the color of the sky, if it were covered with grey clouds then the sea would be grey too.

Returning to the hotel brought us face-to-face with another beauty. Some flowers announce the beginning of the sea season...

IMG_0335.jpg

Every time we go to the sea these flowers seem to guide our steps and show us the direction.

Landscape architecture

The lawn surrounding the hotel is watered and mowed with regularity and professionalism. This care of the space next to the hotel contributes greatly to the special appearance of the place.

Although this sophisticated landscape architecture fits well with this hotel and the purpose for which it was located here, I am drawn more to the wild side of nature, as much as is left on the edges...

Thousands of summer flowers are between the landscaped part of the hotel garden and the seashore. To me, they are true beauty.

On this recent trip, I admired more the green sea of the garden.

The time was short and passed very quickly and I hope that the image we saw every time we looked out from the balcony of our hotel room will remain on our retina and in our memory for as long as possible.

Excellent framing and compositions on the trail shots in particular. It was really fun for the eye to traverse your images and the focal points! Great job.

Wowww what a view! What landscapes! I am delighted to see all this! The poppies are beautiful!😍

Thank you, Barbara, haha...
Poppies are so fragile, lucky there are so many of them!

Well well, you all read that!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Maybe that's why I like them so much, they are beautiful!

Thank you. The lenses aren't great and I'm doing some editing.

Oh! But still they gave you the shits you edited despite. Because if it wasn't a clear shot, it would have been hard to edit them.
