Another visit to the Biryani Station

If Im not mistaken, this is my fourth time visiting this food house that serves halal foods about 18 kilometers away from my place, and this is the first restaurant in the city that I visited that serves Mediterranean cuisine. What makes me think back is the choice of spices that make the flavor of the foods unique to the taste, and besides, the foods are certified halal considering that the owner of the restaurant is a Muslim himself, and we chat with each other if I chanced that he is around as he works as a licensed physician. While waiting for my food to be served, I took a selfie with the logo of the restaurant and another customer with the cashier in the background.

Then, as my food is brought to the table, I can smell its distinct aroma, which makes my stomach grumble further as I am hungry when I enter the doorway. I ordered beef kabsa this time, and I asked the server what makes it different from biryani, and she said that kabsa is more spicy than biryani, so I was so challenged and got more curious to give this food a try.

Finally, here it is, and I will do some mekus mekus for a while, or the process of mixing the ingredients altogether to achieve its appetizing taste. Mekus mekus, by the way, is a slang term coined by an Indian Facebook and YouTube vlogger who resides in the Philippines, whose residence is about 17 kilometers from my village, and the origin of the word might be from the Filipino term halu-halo, which literally means mix-mix.

Then before giving my verdict about the food I ordered for this day, I took another selfie, this time with a smile as I am already relieved from the tiredness of walking about roughly a 3.1 kilometers from the regional telecommunications office of which I renewed my Restricted Land-based Mobile (RLM) license and my stomach is already filled up and all I can say is that the food is so amazingly delicious albeit it's hot and spicy taste and I will keep going back to this restaurant for another serving of beef kabsa or the other healthy halal foods shown in their menu as I have only tasted chicken biryani; beef biryani along with delicious dessert called fatirah and beef kabsa.
