Got the email about the upcoming event in my inbox over the weekend, I was exited to get that email as I was thinking about it during the pasts weeks.
But it is actually better, the event is happening in Croatia and in mid September so it is very likely that I will go there before starting my asian trip.

I missed hivefest⁸ in mexico but went to the one in Amsterdam in 2022. 
I think is is a great choice for a lot of people as the country is easily accessible by air and is well connected within Europe. I have been to Croatia before but never in the city of Split so it will be a place to discover and I am looking forward to it.
Last time I went to Croatia was in 2015 so nearly 10 years ago, I am sure it changed a bit, the Kuna was still the currency at the time and I remember the bills being cool. Now it is good old euros.
I am already looking at possible flights option for the 9th or 10th, I don't know yet if I want to stay a bit longer and use this opportunity to visits countries around like Montenegro and Albania which are on my list.
What about you, are you considering coming to hivefest and if so just for the event or you will include in in a broader European trip?
