BAD MOTHER OR BAD LUCK? BROKEN NEWBORN'S HAND RUINS A FAMILY

A young 24-year old mother can be prisoned for 3 years for ...a broken hand of her newborn baby!
She is blamed in "causing grievous bodily harm to a minor through negligence".

It happened suddenly and occasionally when a young unexperienced Mom was putting clothes on her newborn baby. She even didn't notice it at once and called a doctor only when she realised the baby's hand wasn't Ok.

CPS didn't waste time and a chance to make their own judgements about "bad atittude to a baby, absence of appropriate kids conditions for life and health" etc.

This situation cn be taken from different points of views. The Mother really should be more attentive, but is it a reason for a criminal case?? For 3 years of prison and destroying the family and kid's life??

Some years ago a similar case happened in Germany, where CPS is just crazy, Jugendampt is famous all over the world...
Similarity of these cases show us the real essence of CPS deeds, and it's not care about kid's health.

Mayer family lost their youngest kid because of his broken hand. It was just a bad luck, because parents were loving and caring. They went to hospital to get help, and it was their fatal mistake in the country where Jugendampt rules all family cases...
The kid was taken away..Later it turned out that the child had a rare disease connected with calcium deficiency in the body. But they could not prove this in Germany.

When it became clear that the mother was pregnant again, and the newborn baby would also be taken away immediately, they fled to Russia (the father was born there).

I'm glad they had somewhere to flee to.

Hello, how are you? The situation differs according to the child care law we have in Egypt. If the child causes harm, the mother or father is held accountable for the sponsorship. The father is responsible for whom, but this law does not work. We have just a law, but an exception is made because if harm occurs, it will be the result of something contrary to the intention of the family and also No mother or father wants their child to get hurt

Sometimes accidents happen. If they didn't we'd still live in caves and wonder what that bright shiny thing in the sky was. But sometimes people get hurt in accidents, and some accidents aren't just caused by negligence, but by gross negligence, and that borders on intent to do harm. Sometimes people hurt other people on purpose. CPS exists because family or neighbors should be there to defend children whose parents are wackos that hurt them badly on purpose, and family and neighbors aren't always able to do that. But whenever you get a government bureaucracy the administrator has an incentive to increase it's budget, and CPS are government agencies. The bigger their budgets get, the more they have to do to justify those budgets, and that's when families start getting abused by government agencies without good reason, as seems to be the case in the stories you mention.

There's no incentive for CPS to stick to it's knitting, and every incentive for CPS to grow as big as possible and take as many children away from families as there are.

Thanks!
