Here is the chart for the accumaltion process of 1.8M HBD in savings by @lazy-panda.
For perspecitve 1.8M is 15% out of the total cirucalting HBD (11.7M), it is 22% out of the 8.2M HBD in savings.
1.88M earns around 1k per day at 20% interest, 30k HBD per month or 365k per year.
We can see the first major push up to 1.1M HBD at the beginig of 2023. Then 2023 was mostly quiet, probably just the interest compounded, and again a second push up to 1.8M in the begining of 2024.
From what I can tell most of this HBD was bought from the internal market in period of month or two. Not sure what is the best route for these type of sums for HBD is it the internal market, or maybe buying HIVE and then converting it to HBD.
Congrats to the man with now close to 2M in HBD :) It is for sure a leap of fait in this network.

This is insane. What if he decides to liquidate this saving at once? What effect will it have on the price of $Hive?
It would likely have a bigger impact on the price of HBD temporarily. For such a large player it would be more in his/her interest to sell slowly rather than all at once.
Still, this account is approaching the level that they can potentially significantly affect Hive all on their own.
I would like to see the views of the witnesses and what can be done to forestall this kind of situation in the near future.
