I am back!
It had been tedious journey of taking care of the sick ones at home, and then just when everything seemed better, I got sick too! Today, I feel way better, let's get back to some writing.
Surawon BBQ Buffet!
My youngest brother and sister-in-law gave me a sumptuous treat of Korean BBQ Buffet. Initially, we wanted to go to another restaurant but it was permanently closed, so sad. And then, suddenly, it was raining cats and dogs, so we decided to visit another one that was more accessible with shelter from car park. We went to Surawon!

It was not my first time here, but it was my first time eating with more people, usually it was just me and husband. This time, my brother wanted to give everyone a treat, including my husband and my children, because he said he was very appreciative of us always willing to help him take care of his pet guinea pig MoMo when he was away travelling.
Menu
This was the menu we were looking at because we were ready to feast. It was unlimited buffet, guys.
The price was so affordable, before 3pm, each will be charged RM35, after 3pm, each will be charged RM38. Kids below 120cm eat for Rm10, my son is 117cm, so he could get that price. Ooh-la-la! If you are youth below 150cm, then you eat for Rm20, too bad, my teenager son is already 165cm!!!
We were eyeing on the unlimited meat for BBQ: pork belly, marinated pork, spicy pork belly, pork neck, marinated chicken, spicy chicken and even baby octopus. The octopus was new in the menu, yay!!!
They also serve unlimited kimchi soup, steam egg and Korean pancake! Such a great deal, isn't it?
And many side dishes too, I counted around 10, and with variety of sauces, also white rice, kimchi fried rice, japchae and tteobboki.
Ambience and service
One thing good about this restaurant was the friendly bosses, but downside was food came rather slow because they did not have a lot of workers it seemed. But, it was okay, we enjoyed waiting and chitchatting.
My first time sitting at this no-seat table and experienced the authentic experience of eating like a Korean, haha! We all really enjoyed our company.
Start eating!
For our first round, we ordered everything in the buffet menu for one set. We skipped all the rice and japchae, only ordering the meat, soup, steam egg and pancake. The side dishes area was for self-serving, so we helped ourselves with our favourite kimchi. The kimchi here was so delicious, of course, because the couple bosses are from Korea.
After waiting for awhile, the waitress came to set up the BBQ set, as well as helping us with the first round of BBQ!
BBQ, eat and repeat!
The meat here were very fresh, even the baby octopus was well-marinated and so soft after BBQ. Wow!
The kimchi soup, steam egg and Korean pancake was very delicious too!
Our next round, we just kept topping up our kimchi, as well as baby octopus, pork belly, marinated pork, and spicy pork belly because these part of meat was so soft and fragrant after BBQ. Super delicious!!!

We were there for two hours, really eating to the max because the food were really so so good. My youngest son also very enjoyed the pork belly, the softest part of meat for him. And then, we ended our round with ice creams!
