Although it has not been much time since I started my Hive journey, one thing that I have noticed many times is that the developers of ecency always try to improve this platform according to our (users) needs.
Be it the excellent fast and accurate notification feature, a world-class mobile application for almost all of our daily activities, free lightning-fast swapping from HDB to Liquid Hive, the ease of adding videos to our blogs right from the application itself, ecency waves for microblogging, or the direct chat feature on the ecency web itself to connect with your friends and community.
Understanding our every need with such precision and fulfilling it is truly admirable.🙏
There are many more amazing features which I have not even named here because this blog is especially to make you aware of 2 important features. One that I found out about from @xuwi and one that I think is just updated today.
The feature I recently found out about is 'Swap Token'. Using this you can convert HBD to Hive or Hive to HBD without any wait and without paying a single penny, that too with this amazing invention 'Smart Phone'. Yess, now even if you are away from your laptop or computer, you have your phone right, just open your ecency app on it, click on your wallet and select the token you want to swap.
I wanted to swap HBD so when I clicked on HBD a new page opened which had all these options. Which are shown in the image below. I simply clicked on 'Swap Token'
After which this transaction-related page opened, here I filled the number of tokens I wanted to convert in the "From" section. Below which, in the 'To' section, the count of tokens I was getting in return was written.
It was also written that according to the current price, 1 HBD is equal to how many Hives?
After this, I clicked on 'Next' button and pressed 'Confirm'.
The transaction is completed immediately after entering the required key code. The entire transaction took me only a few seconds, and it was truly an amazing experience. Why? Because earlier I had to do this through a laptop by following some steps on specific websites.
And to be honest, this is not a new feature but guess what, I did not know about it. And not just this but there are many more amazing features of ecency that we don't even know about and we just keep following the old methods. Well, this was my true experience and I really enjoyed swapping.
Now let's talk about the latest update.

So, for the last few days, I was seeing on Ecency Discord that some users were talking about making it easier and smoother to manage voting percentages. Earlier, the voting percentage was managed with the help of a slider, which was really irritating because it is quite difficult to set an exact number.
BUT, As I said, ecency developers understood the needs of the users and here is your surprise.
Now you can set your voting percentage as much as you want. Just click on the on percentage number on the left and change it manually as per your liking. Doesn't this look cool? :D
I personally am so happy with this new update. I just noticed this change while voting for a blog so thought why not share it with you all.
I am quoting again, Ecency is a wonderful platform and has a lot of amazing features, and this team on its never-settle mode constantly strives to find solutions to our every need and every problem.
