Today I want to show through a tutorial, how to make a beautiful amigurumi sheep, crochet, inspired by Woolio, new character of the holozing game that came to stay, this sheep has a lot of wool, I hope you like it.
The materials needed for the realization of amigurumi are:
- Knitting yarn, colors: yellow, orange, beige and black.
- Scissors,
- Knitting needle, number 3.
- Wool needle.
- Liquid Silicone.
- Filling
Steps for the realization of amigurumi:
- The first thing we need to do is to take the needle and yellow yarn to start making the body of the Woolio sheep, make a magic ring,pick up three chains, inside the ring knit 6 puff stitches.
- After making the magic ring and raising three chains, we make 4 high stitches, for a total of 5 high stitches, then leave the yarn strand and grab stitch one together with the last stitch, bring it all as a slipped stitch, we already have the first puff stitch, we separate with two chains, so we will make 6 puff stitches.for the second round, we will make increase in each stitch, that is two puff stitches where the two chains were made, for a total of 12 puff stitches.
- Now we continue with the body of the amigurumi, we make three rows with 12 puff stitches, for the sixth row we make the decreases, there would be a total of 6 puff stitches.
- Place the stuffing and close with the knitting needle.
- Now we have the body of the sheep ready.
- We continue with the legs, make a magic ring, inside the ring put 6 single crochet stitches, for the second row make an increase for a total of 12 single crochet stitches, then do the same in the 3rd, 4th and 5th rows, we must knit 4 legs in the same way.
- For the ears, make a magic ring and put 6 double crochet stitches inside the ring, in the same way you will knit the other ear. And for the ears, you will knit them in the same way but with low stitches.
- The tail will be knitted with a magic ring, put 6 single crochet stitches and continue knitting 6 single crochets until row 5.
- To knit the sheep's head, we take the yellow yarn again, make a magic ring and knit 6 puff stitches, above we explain how to knit the puff stitch. Then we put the beige yarn and knit 12 single crochet stitches, one stitch in each space and one under each puff stitch. Now we continue knitting 12 single crochet stitches, until row 5, for row 6 we make a decrease leaving 6 stitches.
- Before closing we knit the eyes, a magic ring and place 3 single crochet stitches inside the ring, we close the ring with a slipped stitch, this way we will make the other eye.
- Then we glue them with silicone, we place the mouth and the nose with the black thread.
- Now we can fill in the head and close it with the wool needle. Also glue the legs, tail, horns and ears with the knitting needle.
- As the sheep is characterized by having a lot of wool, I knitted a larger part of the body to place on top of it and to show it with enough wool. I knitted with puff stitches.
Here is the final result of the beautiful sheep with plenty of wool, named Woolio.
You saw how cute it looks, it can be used as a gift for children, it will be a spectacular gift, cuddly toy style.
