Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! Finally I come to share a fan art of Holozing in color, the truth is too cute, it is one of those drawings in which I try to get out of my comfort zone and I think I've succeeded, because I wanted to make the character of the male Healer of the light a little tender, but at the same time that had something dark of my style, in which I was reflected blood, as it is something I love to do sometimes, but well I leave the drawing process below:

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Por fin vengo a compartir un fan art de Holozing a color, la verdad quedo demasiado lindo, es de esos dibujos en los que intento salirme un poco de mi zona de confort y creo que lo he logrado, ya que quise hacer el personaje del Sanador de la luz masculino un tanto tierno, pero a la vez que tuviese algo oscuro de mi estilo, en el cual se me reflejada sangre, ya que es algo que me encanta hacer algunas veces, pero bueno les dejo el proceso del dibujo a continuación:

I started making the sketch of the character, taking the original character as a reference, but I also made a mood bourd in which I added some references to guide me in a good way and to be able to make my version. As my idea was to make the character tender but at the same time dark or that had an essence of my style, what I did was to be inspired by several characters of the game Genshin Impact and some references of illustrations in that style to be able to adapt those styles to my way of drawing. I added some horns to the character, which is something distinctive of my style and other details to structure the whole drawing.

Comencé haciendo el boceto del personaje, tomando como referencia al personaje original, pero también arme un mood bourd en el cual agregue algunas referencias para guiarme de una buena manera y poder hacer mi versión. Como mi idea era hacer al personaje tierno pero a la vez oscuro o que tuviese una esencia de mi estilo, lo que hice fue inspirarme de varios personajes del juego Genshin Impact y algunas referencias de ilustraciones en ese estilo para poder llegar a adaptar dichos estilos a mi forma de dibujar. Agregue algunos cuernos al personaje, que es algo distintivo de mi estilo y demás detalles hasta llegar a estructurar todo el dibujo.

After I have all the sketch done, what I do is to pass a moldable eraser over it to remove the excess of graphite pencil and detail it a little with a mechanical pencil to leave it defined before I go to paint it. For the color work in the drawing, what I do is to choose some combination of colors in the chromatic circle, depending on the colors that we can find in the original illustration and from there to begin to apply all the color. I chose a triadic color palette, in which I included the colors yellow, red and blue, which we can also see in the original illustration, combining perfectly with each other.

Luego que tengo todo el boceto hecho, lo que hago es pasar un borrador moldeable por encima del mismo para quitar el exceso de lápiz grafito y detallarlo un poco con algún portaminas para dejarlo definido antes de irme a pintarlo. Para el trabajo de color en el dibujo, lo que hago es escoger alguna combinación de colores en el circulo cromático, dependiendo de los colores que podamos encontrar en la ilustración original y de allí partir a comenzar a aplicar todo el color. Escogí una paleta de color triádica, en la cual incluí los colores amarillo, rojo y azul, los cuales podemos ver también en la ilustración original, combinando perfectamente entre sí.

After I have had the vast majority of the drawing painted and detailed with the watercolors, because yes, I worked with watercolors for this drawing, I am going to add the blood in parts of the face and the hand. To paint the blood, I use fabric paint instead of watercolors, because this is much more pigmented and leaves a very contrasting finish to what we are painting and the truth, the blood I have always painted with that paint.

Luego que he tenido la gran mayoría del dibujo pintado y detallado con las acuarelas, porque si, trabaje con acuarelas para este dibujo, me voy a agregar la sangre en partes de la cara y la mano. Para pintar la sangre, uso pintura de tela en vez de acuarelas, ya que esta es mucho más pigmentada y deja un acabado muy contrastado a lo que estemos pintando y la verdad, la sangre siempre la he pintado con esa pintura.

To finish this drawing, what I do is to add some details with wood colors in certain areas of the drawing where I see that there is a lack of contrast or saturation in the paint. I also add line art in black to detail or define even more certain areas. Finally I add some shines in the background and in some areas of the drawing and that's it, that would be all, I hope you like it.

Para culminar con este dibujo, lo que hago es agregar algunos detalles con colores de madera en ciertas zonas del dibujo en donde vea que falta algo de contraste o saturación en la pintura. También agrego line art en negro para detallar o definir aun más ciertas zonas. Por ultimo agrego algunos brillos en el fondo y en algunas zonas del dibujo y listo amigos, eso seria todo, espero les guste.
