when the magnolia tree is budding one who doesn't know better might think
that when they bloom there will be lots of
perfectly formed beautiful flowers.
they start that way but things quickly become
downright
disorderly to the point
of being wonderfully chaotic
and that's when the newly opened petals begin falling off
creating marvelously unexpected
delicate
twists and turns
that become more astonishing
the closer you look
i took all these shots a few days ago with my S22.
editing has been done either on the phone or with the free version of photoshop

thanks. the flowers are big and i was at the limit of my Samsung S22 that has no zoom. some of the shots are cropped. you can see the close-ups are not particularly sharp some of that has to do with the hand held camera and some from the wind blowing.
