Hi there! How are you, hivers?
When I have a free moments in the city... (it doesn't happen that often...) I still go to places that resemble wild nature. Maybe someday it will change. But now I have a hard time making myself go to people.
There were holidays. Easter is late this year in our country. The weather was almost summer this first days of May (now it's quite cold). In those days, as I already described in the previous post, I took care of the dog and cat of my friend who was away. Under these circumstances, I decided to explore a bit of friend's district, which is very green!!!
Коли у місті випадає вільна хвилинка... (А це буває не так часто...) Я все одно йду не в центр, не в кафе, не в музей, а в місця, що нагадують дику природу. Може колись це зміниться. Але зараз мені важко змусити себе йти до людей.
Були свята. У нашій країні цього року пізній Великдень. Погода стояла майже літня у ці перші вихідні травня. В ті дні, як я вже описувала у минулому пості, я доглядала за песиком і кицею подруги, що була у від'їзді. Відповідно до цих обставин вирішила трохи дослідити її район, який є дуже зеленим!!!
If I walked with the dog only near the house, so as not to get into any adventures, then I took my mother on further walks:) Our plans included a little exploration of the Sand Lakes, which are popularly called Altai Lakes.
It so happened that by the time we gathered, the sun was already rolling down. The storm clouds only scared us. Although it wouldn't be surprising if it rained after the almost summer heat...
Якщо з песиком я гуляла лише біля будинку, щоб не влізти у якісь пригоди, то на дальшу прогулянку взяла маму:) У планах було трішки дослідити Піскові озера, що в народі звуться Алтайськими.
Так склалося, що поки ми зібрались, то сонечко вже котилось вниз. Грозові хмари лише трохи налякали нас — хоча й не дивно, якби після майже літньої спеки випав дощ...
We walked along an interesting old street, which is now named after General Chuprynka.
Most of the buildings appeared here at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, when the historicism style prevailed. It was a time of great variety of shapes and colors. The main thing is the imagination and wealth of the customer and the talent of the architect:) Some houses look like castles from the Middle Ages, and others look like Renaissance palaces. Among all this, the strict forms of houses in the style of functionalism can be seen...
Ми йшли цікавою старовинною вулицею Чупринки. В основному будівлі з'явилися тут вкінці 19 — на початку 20 століть, коли панував стиль історизм. Це був час великого розмаїття форм і кольорів. Головне — це фантазія та заможність замовника:) Деякі будинки схожі на замки з Середньовіччя, а інші на ренесансні палаци. Поміж цього всього видніються і строгі форми домів у стилі функціоналізму...
Later, more and more greenery began to appear and we found ourselves in the territory of the lakes. There were not many people. Peace and quiet reigned around. These trees seemed to protect us from the noise of the city. A lone fisherman was fishing, in the distance people were relaxing on deckchairs. Some daredevil even swam next to the ducks...
Згодом почало з'являтися все більше зелені і ми опинилися на території озер... Людей було небагато. Навколо панував спокій і тиша. Ці дерева наче захищали нас від шуму міста. Одинокий рибалка ловив рибу, вдалині на шезлонгах відпочивали люди. Якийсь сміливець навіть купався поряд з качками...
We took sandwiches and sweets with us, because we were hungry all day. A cute dog, whom my mother was afraid of, came to our company twice. These were busy days, so I enjoyed just lying there and looking at the dual reality above and below the water. People are lucky to live in that white house over this small lake...
It was this meditation that took up most of the walk:)
Ми ж взяли з собою бутерброди та інші дрібниці, адже за весь день у мене традиційно не було часу поїсти... Це були насичені дні, отож мені подобалося просто лежати і дивитися на подвійну реальність над і під водою. Водойм у Львові дуже мало:(
Саме ця медитація і зайняла більшу частину прогулянки:)
Mom was a little hurry, because she lives quite far from here. So we looked at another part of the park from the corner of our eye and realized that it's quite spacious and we should definitely come back here!
Мама боялася лишатись тут надовго, бо живе доволі далеко звідси. То ж ми ще краєм ока оглянули іншу частину парку і зрозуміли, що він доволі великий і що обов'язково слід повернутися сюди!
I took my mom to the tram stop and realized that this streets are so great for a community page about architecture. Cozy courtyards, weather vanes on the houses, lots of greenery... The Neo-Gothic house, which I learned was built in 1912, attracted the most attention. But that's another story...
Я провела маму на трамвай і чесно кажучи зрозуміла, що цей район проситься на сторінку спільноти про архітектуру. Затишні дворики, флюгери на будинках, багато зелені... Як не дивно, але подруга каже, що тут є покинуті будинки чи квартири. Та це вже інша історія...
