Hoy finalmente llegó el día en que con mucho esmero y dedicación maestras y representantes llevamos acabo el agasajo para el día de las madres, en mi pais se celebra el domingo 12 de mayo pero en las escuelas e instituciones se acostumbra a dar presentes y celebrarlo el viernes.
Gifts and celebrations for mothers on their day
Today finally came the day when with great care and dedication teachers and representatives carried out the celebration for Mother's Day, in my country it is celebrated on Sunday May 12 but in schools and institutions it is customary to give presents and celebrate it on Friday.
Secretamente la directora de la institución en conjunto con algunas maestras y representantes formamos un comité para llevar a cabo una pequeña celebración, junto a una recolección de fondos para dar varios presentes a las madres del colegio, los niños también participaron activamente e hicieron un gran trabajo porque mantuvieron el secreto hasta hoy.
Secretly the director of the institution together with some teachers and representatives formed a committee to carry out a small celebration, along with a collection of funds to give various gifts to the mothers of the school, the children also participated actively and did a great job because they kept the secret until today.
Se envió la invitación a las madres par de días antes para que la mayoría pudiera hacer sus ajustes para que este viernes asistieran al colegio a las 7 am para recibir sus obsequios y estar en el compartir. En ocasiones anteriores se ha hecho solo entrega de un presente a la hora de entrada a clases y se retiran las mamás, pero este año quisimos hacer algo diferente y darles la sorpresa.
Todas las madres llegaron pensando que seria como siempre, recibir su regalo, tomarse la foto a irse a cumplir con sus obligaciones, pero se sorprendieron cuando se les hizo pasar a un área del colegio adornada muy bonita y todo organizado como para un evento musical.
The invitation was sent to the mothers a couple of days before so that most of them could make their adjustments so that this Friday they would be at school at 7 am to receive their gifts and be able to share. On previous occasions we have only given them a gift at the time they enter the school and the mothers leave, but this year we wanted to do something different and surprise them.
All the mothers arrived thinking that it would be the same as always, receive their gift, take their picture and go to fulfill their obligations, but they were surprised when they were shown into a beautifully decorated area of the school and everything was organized as if it were a musical event.
El colegio cuenta con un profesor de música, quien preparo varios números musicales con los niños de todos los grados en homenaje a las madres, hubo momentos sumamente divertidos donde los niños hicieron covers de canciones de la época de la juventud de las madres, que les movió sus recuerdos, también hubo momentos muy emotivos con canciones que enaltecen su noble labor como madres.
The school has a music teacher, who prepared several musical numbers with the children of all grades in tribute to the mothers, there were very funny moments where the children did covers of songs from the time of the youth of mothers, which moved their memories, there were also very emotional moments with songs that extolled their noble work as mothers.
La cosa se puso tan buenas que las madres no se querían ir, así que cuando se acabaron las canciones por parte de los niños le toco al profesor de música sacar canciones de su repertorio personal, que interpreto maravillosamente al punto que aun eran las 9:30 am y los representantes de los niños no se querían ir, la directora termino tomando la decisión de que los padres al terminar se llevaran a los niños de una vez a sus hogares.
Things got so good that the mothers did not want to leave, so when the children ran out of songs it was the turn of the music teacher to take songs from his personal repertoire, which he performed wonderfully to the point that it was still 9:30 am and the children's representatives did not want to leave, the director ended up making the decision that the parents would take the children home at once.
Como la institución cuenta también con profesora de arte, ella se aseguro que cada nivel elaborara un pequeño presente para las madres, primero una linda carta donde invito a los niños a esforzarse por hacerlo lo mas lindo posible, que reflejara todo el amor que sienten por sus mamás con un dibujo, y que los que ya sabían escribir pudieran expresar sus sentimientos también con palabras.

También hicieron una pequeña pintura en un pequeño lienzo con acuarelas que luego se envolvió para conservarlo limpio con un pequeña etiqueta a manera de presente. La verdad quede sorprendido con el arte de los niños, en especial el de mi pequeña, le quedo muy bonito para ser su primera vez.
They also made a small painting on a small canvas with watercolors that was then wrapped to keep it clean with a small label as a present. I was really surprised with the children's art, especially my little girl's, it was very nice for her first time.
Hubo otros presentes como un franela con una linda frase y una lampara de noche con la frase: Mamá te quiero mucho, son pequeños detalles que juntos reflejan el sentimiento de amor a nuestras madres.
There were other gifts such as a flannel with a nice phrase and a night lamp with the phrase: Mom I love you very much, are small details that together reflect the feeling of love to our mothers.
Personalmente me sentí muy motivado a ser parte de los preparativos de este agasajo, al no tener a mi madre ya hace mas de dos años y extrañarle tanto, sentí que podía colaborar con un pequeño granito de arena que los sentimiento de amor se fortalezcan en los niños y sus madres aun presentes.
Personally I felt very motivated to be part of the preparations for this celebration, not having my mother for more than two years and missing her so much, I felt that I could collaborate with a small grain of sand that the feelings of love are strengthened in children and their mothers still present.
