Powering up is a way to add more value to the account and its LPUD hence I also did my part on the event. LPUD which is also known as Leo Power Up Day is organised on the 15th of every month. Its 5th LPUD event of the year and every month I power up Leo to grow my Leo power. I have already enabled the option to earn leo in staked form through the leo.voter delegation.
InLeo has been building an ecosystem and recently they have launched leodex which is a decentralized exchange. Its a multichain swap protocol where we can swap leo and Hive with layer 1 coins and this is a big move. I believe that this is going to bring more value to the token economy for high as well as Leo and both will be valuable. This is also good because now we do not need to rely on the centralised exchanges and swaps can be done without using those exchanges and decentralised exchange is the only place where the transaction can be performed. This can also be done while keeping the self custody which I think is another best part about it.
Power Up this month
I did power up for 400 Leo tokens and below is the snapshot. I was able to power up yesterday and making the post now. I did the power-up well on time and sometimes I do this when I have no time to write the post but ensure that the staking is done within the event timeline.
My ultimate goal is to have 50K Leo Power but now I am at 25K which is like 50% of the goal is achieved. I will continue to power up in the coming months also without any gap even though I get the stake the Leo every day for my delegation. I buy you sometimes from the market and I also get some liquid Leo through the delegation to another account which I used to power up so altogether I am adding up a good amount of Leo every month which can be roughly about 1000 in a month.
Dashboard
Now I'm taking you through the dashboard of my Leo reward which I earn every day for my HP delegation. This is a great option because we can earn 16% of APR and I believe this is impressive and we should not be missing out on this opportunity. I enabled this option on the day it was launched and since I am a premium member so one per cent additional is given to me as part of the premium benefit. Because I have delegated 10K HP to the account hence it gives me approximately 440 tokens in a month. In the dollar value as per the current market price, it is approximately $42 and I think it's not a bad amount.
As I have already mentioned I power up approximately 400 Leo tokens in a month and another 400 plus tokens are added to the stake. I also earn some tokens as part of the reward which are also powered up from time to time so this way I can add approximately 800 to 1000 Leo in a month to the stake.
I will be powering up every event and the goal is simple I want to grow my Leo holding. This initiative has been very helpful on my journey because every month I do power up and consistency pays off. I'm happy to have more than 25k leo power as of now but this is just the beginning because I will continue to accumulate as much as possible. In crypto, the long-term plan can be very good and since I am a long-term follower hence I'm trying to build my holdings with HP as well as LP with the hope that these holdings are going to be much more valuable after the next few years.
