This weekend, my special and awesome best friend is celebrating her birthday on may 18 which falls on a saturday and I want to make it extra special for her because this year has been a trasnformative year for us and we have started to build the life we have been planning for ourselves since we met each other. We've been close since our very first day in college and from the moment we met, i knew we were going to be lifelong friends because the way she made feel and always carry me along even when I'm not interested. Now, we are not only best friends but we have also grown up to be partners in the fashion design industry, a dream we have shared and worked hard to achieve together and i know some day we would be bigger than whatever we have imagined.
This weekend to start the celebration, I am planning a big surprise for her and i know she loves cakes, she is one of the biggest fan when it comes to cakes and when i remembered that, i took the first step to find the most delicious cake in town and the one she would obviously love and luckily for me, i found a bakery that makes amazing cakes not too far from my house and immediately i bought it because it wad the last set remaining on the platform and i think she will definitely love it.
The next thing i would be doing is to buy her some gifts although i haven't bought them yet, I have a few ideas in mind and the first one is obviously get a try of foods that also contains chocolate, fruits and also fruit juice, She has a great sense of taste and i obviously want to get her something she would enjoy, so i got to pre order a tray of different foods combination and gave them time which i would come over to pick it up and which time is on Saturday morning.
Today is Wednesday and she's already preparing for the birthday and we both went to a salon together because she said she needed a new hairstyle and today being the only day free, we went to our favorite hairl salon to get her hair done and i did follow her and i also ensure that she doesn't know about the big surprise i have for her on Saturday.
On Saturday which is her birthday, I will start by surprising her with the cake when she comes over to my house because she planned to spend the whole day at my side and with some few friends coming over and later in the day, I’ll give her the gifts I’ve picked out. I hope to see the excitement and happiness on her face when she opens them all and hopefully where all i order the foods also don't disappoint because we know how all these delivery services behaves sometimes.
After leaving the salon i also told my brother to help me get some instructions on how to fry puff puff from my mum and he wrote it down and i went over to meet him to collect the instructions from him before going back home.
I hope this birthday will be one of the awesome birthday we have spent together and hopefully she remembers forever. She has been an incredible and amazing friend and partner, and I want to show her just how much she means to me and also to show how i really care for her. It’s not every day we have the opportunity to celebrate someone who has been by your side through all challenges, happiness, joyous moments of one's life. Having a friend that helps in chasing your dreams and build a successful career together is something to be proud of and I'm proud of having a friend like her.
Here's to many more birthdays and many more years of friendship and success in every of our journey and i wish her the best life has to offer to my awesome friend tagt became a family.
