Hi to my HiveFam from our ants family!:)
They have been living with us for more than 2 years, there are some hundreds of them now (don't know exactly, I think you understand why:)), but we started from just a dozen of them! And I am glad we could create nice conditions for their living and growth.
I made some posts about their life and told what they liked and didn't like.
Now one more post about their new passion.
Now it's May, and here it's a season of strawberries.
I often give some fruits to my ants, but I didn't notice great attention to them.
So when I gave them a strawberry, I didn't expect....such passion!!
They were running to it like crazy and didn't leave it for a long time!
Especially they liked places where juice went out of it...so they liked its sweet juice and taste;)
I guessed, how much time they needed to eat it all.
Now 2 days passed, and 30% of the berry has ben already eaten;)
So I think they drink it more than eat:)

I bought them special fish food as a source of protein, they like it very much BUT a strawberry is their TOP food now

ants are running all the time! it's almost impossible to see them without movement.
They sleep just during some seconds but many times a day, but there are lots of them and it seems their running never stops;)\
