Fury A Sore Loser

source

Last night we saw the first time in 25 years when all the world heavy weight belts were om the line. The world of boxing has not seen an undisputed heavy weight champion for 25 years and that is the sad reality of how promoters have ruined the sport.

Fury vs Uysk was a pay per view event that would see Fury earn $80 million and Uysk a respectable $35 million. The pay per view I am dead against and refuse to pay for these extra events that I believe should be part of the normal broadcast.

Thankfully we have Twitter (X) and there was around 5 live streams available with the one I watched having over 1.5 million viewers. This is something new ad I think if you hunt around most things are available including Premiership football. I was never going to pay 25 GBP to watch a sporting event in a sport that has been on the decline for many years due to the match ups controlled by the promoters protecting the boxers. The number 1 vs number 2 just never happens and this is where the attitude of the sport needs to change.

Thankfully Uysk came out on top last night and rightfully so because he deserved this win. Fury was clowning around for the first 3 rounds and this I found very disrespectful. Fury was over confident thinking he was going to win ad those types of thoughts must have been changing the longer the fight went on.

In boxing the tale of the tape is what most people look at and on every single stat Uysk was not even close. Height, weight and reach all in the favor of Fury who towered over Uysk and why most thought Fury would win. The betting odds by William Hill bookies had Fury at 8/1 for most rounds after the 4th round and why so much money is made through this sport.

Fury is known as the "gypsy king" being at the top of the sport for the last 9 years having beaten Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015. The hope is the sport can move forward seeing new blood at the top.

After Fury's loss he showed even more disrespect showing what type of character he is as a person. To ay that Uysk only one the split decision because he is a Ukranian and everyone is feeling sorry for them due to the war was just plain wrong. This is not how a world champion in ay sport behaves and highlights again how delusional Fury is.

But Fury believed he had done enough to earn the win and suggested the Ukrainian had benefitted from sympathy towards his war-torn home country.

Champions Just Don't Talk like This- Show Some Respect

What is next as this is not over for these two fighters as Fury had a clause in the fight contract for a rematch later this year if he lost. The expected rematch will happen in October which should see Uysk now make the lions share of the prize money. He is now the undisputed champion and deserves everything coming his way and if the fight happens it will be another great fight worth watching.

Fury was saved by the ref as he was a goner in the 9th . They say he was concussed because he said happy new year at the end

He did shout happy new year and everyone thought he was just mad because it made no sense. The ropes kept him up and he would not have got up if they were not there. His legs were shot after receiving 41 punches in 30 seconds.

Fury was clowning around for the first 3 rounds and this I found very disrespectful.

I thought it was double-stupid when he started clowning again later in the fight even though he was taking some really heavy hits at that point and was nearly KO'd. He was in no position to clown at that point and I think even he realized that.

This was no sympathy vote, Usyk deserved that win.
