In other words, you will not be able to use the Knock Out ability given by Heavy Hitters rule of combat without the Stun ability. This combination of two abilities is a must if you want to harness the devastating double damage effect of Heavy Hitters rule of combat.
However, there are many uncertainties in this set up. You may not have a monster with Stun ability or the ability simply would not apply at times making the set up useless. Therefore, in these scenarios, having better, stronger lineup would be enough.

It's probably one of the cheapest, yet useful summoners out there. The max level costs only $9.94 that can provide you a good amount of gameplay at max levels.

Just like the others, since the buying price is low, the rental price is as well. General Sloan is one of my recommended rentals for beginners since it's quite affordable to rent for a long time.

With only a cheap price of $2.14, you can expect a good result of having this monster in your arsenal.

If you're not keen on owning one, you can rent it for 0.17 DEC per day. It's cheap enough to rent for multiple months. Just be aware that the card owner can still revoke or cancel your rentals anytime leaving you with no Gargoya Devil to use when you needed it the most.
Stats | General Sloan
General Sloan is a Rare summoner from the Chaos Legion Series.
Level 8 Rare summoners allow the use of:
Level 4 Legendary monsters;
Level 6 Epic monsters;
Level 8 Rare monsters;
Level 10 Common monsters.
As a Rare summoner, it's on the normal side in terms of requiring the amount of cards needed to level up. The ability is very strong though provided that there are a lot of good monsters from the Life Splinter.
+1 Range. [Stat Modifier] [Positive Status] Friendly monsters has their Range damage increased by 1.
Very useful to have in Going the Distance rule of combat. In Heavy Hitters rule of combat, if you have a monster with Stun, the double damage will also increase.
Stats | Gargoya Devil
Stat-wise, it's only strong at higher levels. Gargoya Devil has 4 range damage at max level with Close Range that can be used as a substitute front line for Range monsters.
At level 1, Flying is unlocked. [Defense] Non Flying monsters that attack this card has their maximum hit chance reduced by 25% during that attack.
Flying ability increases the evasion rate of this monster against non-flying monsters. It's a good defense against monsters with melee and range damage.
At level 1, Close Range is unlocked. [Atack Modifier] This ranged monster can attack while in 1st position.
Since Gargoya Devil can attack from 1st position due to Close Range ability, it is a good substitute for tanks especially in Going the Distance rule of combat.
At level 4, Deathblow is unlocked. This monster does double damage to the last monster on the opponent's team.
The double damage from Deathblow can be game changing if played correctly. If you have a monster with Stun and your opponent is on its last monster, this ability with Knock Out ability multiplies your damage by four and with General Sloan, totalling your Gargoya Devil's damage to 20.

General Sloan: Since one of the rules of combat is Going the Distance, General Sloan's increased range damage is very useful as it buff my whole team's damage.
- Great Porcupine: A monster with Range damage and Close Range. Close Range is really strong as it fixes the range mechanic's flaw of having not being able to attack while in 1st position.
- Gargoya Devil: A neutral monster with Close Range ability. It's strong and has decent health at higher levels.
- Supply Runner: Has a lot of good team buff and good damage the higher the level.
- Venari Crystalsmith: Venari Crystalsmith is a good general monster due to her Tank Heal ability. The extra damage and Dispel ability are just bonus.
- Pelacor Arbalest: Really strong when combined with General Sloan. The Double Strike technically double the damage gained from General Sloan as well.

Yes. Ignoring the Heavy Hitters rule of combat, I had more firepower than my opponent. As you can see, even if they have a Runeslinger monster, which gives them the ability to abuse the Heavy Hitters rule of combat, I still won since my build is overall stronger.
