This is a topic that will be implemented this week. It is an activity in which you answer a series of questions based on your experience on the platform, tell what your trip to the world of adventure was like, and give advice to new users. I love this new mechanic and it's innovative and fun to learn about the entire journey and challenges some users face. It took me a while and I couldn't participate consistently. Today I made a plan to find my niche in blockchain again and get back on my weekly posting streak.
Discovery of Splinterlands and how long have you been a part of this project?
I have been a member of Splinterlands for a long time since its inception. I learned about Splinterlands before they overlapped when it was part of the Steem blockchain. For those who don't know, Hive is a fork due to major differences between witnesses. Steem was a highly centralized platform that relied on relationships, investment, and purchasing power to gain traction. There are great posts and projects, but there is no support and little user traffic. I remember being one of them when I started playing Splinterlands. I started investing little by little, but the game mechanics were very different from what we know now and there were fewer cards. I've been working on Splinterlands for 5 or 6 years and would like to work on it for another 7 or 8 years. This project completely changed my success. I remember the average price of my first cards was $300 to $400 and I was very excited to sell them and make a profit. I remember my co-worker scolding me and urging me to wait a bit, but I still didn't listen. When the time came, I stopped counting. Given all the information available at that time, the bill between December 2021 and January 2022 would be around $20,000 in the short term. My income is very good now and the best advice I can get is... My account may not be the smartest and there may be a lot of talented players, but this is the result of trusting Splinterlands so much and tolerating its failures because I know that its growth has not yet reached the peak.
My account may not be the brightest out there and there are plenty of players who are very capable, but that's a result of having relied on Splinterlands for a long time and enduring setbacks because I know the growth hasn't peaked yet.
Time spent in Splinterlands:
To be honest, I didn't spend much time there during the day. It will take me a maximum of 30 to 40 minutes. I spend more time on my phone. My goal is to expand my collection, continue investing and get better cards. At first it was different. To play in the best leagues and get good rewards, you had to ask the algorithm to be nice. Things have changed now. We know that there are many players in the Champions League, who can definitely buy the tastings they want from the rewards edition. So I'm not greedy, I've been playing for 6 years and never got a golden legendary card. Splinterlands made all the updates to get these rewards and my account grew. It's more efficient. You don't need to spend a lot of time in Splinterlands if you have a good collection or good purchasing power to get powerful cards that allow you to comfortably participate in the league you want.
Achievements: What have you managed to achieve in Splinterlands? And what are your next goals:
As I said in the first few paragraphs, I consider my biggest goal to be the financial freedom and self-sustaining profitability that Hive and Splinterlands have given me. It is the price or incomparable factor that gives me time to do my work, continue investing and see results in the short, medium and long term, grow my investments at a very high rate and above all have fun. and interaction on their platforms. My next goals go hand in hand, to continue maintaining this pace and have such strong cards in my name that I can compete with the best players in the Champions League. I know it will happen one day and I am sure of it.
Tips for beginners:
My biggest advice: Don't think of Splainerlands as a money-making machine. Deposit today and withdraw tomorrow. Instead, focus on meeting, learning, and working with good players so they can adopt your habits and grow. If there are no cards on the deck, there are no levels, and if there are no levels, you cannot advance.
