While doing one of the main quests, I happened to pass by one of the houses on the way back to the tower. It had a noise coming from the inside, like a woman screaming. I thought it was kinda creepy cos wtf was happening there lol. I had to go to the main quest still tho cos I had to rush with it so I just went back to the house after I was done with the main errand.
In the early parts of the game you see me try to figure out how to get into the house. I didn't edit those out as I wanted to have a "play with me" direction instead of a "how-to guide" with a perfect gameplay.
It also wasn't easy to figure that out cos the other door was hidden underneath the big cabinet lol.
Then when we knocked, this guy answered the door. He said his wife was giving birth which made sense with the screaming but also sad to know that she is considering the environment she's in. Any births during the apocalypse are just sad.
He was asking for alcohol for disinfecting so we just gave him from our inventory. He was asking for more and wouldn't fully open the door and it became suspicious...
In the end, he just said thanks for the alcohol but didn't let us in. So we broke in to figure out wtf was actually going on, if the wife was actually giving birth or doing something else...
Well... guess what I found?
I platinumed this game a few years ago. Because I did so I had to play all the side quests. The one that really sticks out to me is one when you meet a group of people in a school, led by a rich old man, who wants your help escaping the city!
I really love the side quests in this game, there's so much back story around and they really spent a lot of time making some of the encounters random.
So cool you finished this, I can't wait to try that one out!
