Happy Sunday, It's been a great week. Time flies. I am hungry and I need to get some food to eat.
What's a nice bowl of breakfast? A bowl of clay pot noodles. Yummy.
Auntea Kopitiam Miri, Sarawak
This is a popular place here in Miri. It's quite popular and it was already crowded up early in the morning. But there was a table so we sat at one of the tables and started to order.
Established in 2022, this restaurant serves many local foods that are eaten here such as clay pot noodles, kolo mee, and many more. This is a modern take on the traditional food served here in Miri. I guess, it also attracts a lot of new customers to try these out.
To order here, we have to write it down on paper and send it to the kitchen.
The menu of coffee
This is one menu that I love to look at. I, a huge coffee fan.
Ordered Hor Kai Sai
This is the Hor Kar Sai. This is a special coffee drink. Coffee and a blend of Milo ( a chocolate drink). It also has the nice Auntea logo. The owner of this shop is not an aunty but a young mom.
After a bit of waiting, the food finally arrived. Claypot noodles.
High heat, on a stove with a strong fire. This dish is best eaten while it's hot but be a bit wary of the pot. It's hot. How does it taste? There is a boiled egg and some veggies, and the noodles used have been pre-fried and soak up all the soup flavors.

My wife ordered this. The first thing is the smell. Amazing aroma.
