Hello everyone! I like this challenge because I've always liked to make DIYs especially paper crafts. But for now, quite busy with my research so I took photos of my previous artworks. I am fun of making organizers out of paper wrappers or wallpaper linings either woven or braided.
As you can see on the above photos, I've made a coin bank out of crispy potato tube and a canister, all of which were covered with paper matting.
You only need the following:
• wallpaper lining cut into strips
• glue
• pair of scissors
• plastic varnish
First, cut the wallpaper lining into desired thickness to make a fold. You can do twofold to make it more durable.
Arrange the strips and glue the tips on horizontal position. When the circumference is filled, that will be the time to insert the strips vertically in alternate position and close end to end using glue. See to it that the matting is firmly fixed. Once the endpoint is reached, gently fold the strips alternately, cutting each at the center point then make a patch to make a clean cut.
Afterwards, brush it with the plastic varnish to make it glow. This will make the paper more durable as well. I used strings and old corded fiber twines to match the material used for my project.
For the cover, I folded small strips (about 1cm) and created a small circle while putting glue on each side until the desired circumference is done. Lastly, glue it on the cover and let it dry for about 30 minutes before applying the plastic varnish. This beautiful organizer comes in handy when you like to put your little things and put it back to the right places. It's important that I have organizers like this because I tend to forget the little things where I dropped them last. Lol!
Doing the same procedure, I used a construction paper board to make a 1 foot tube. I used it like a trash box for my cut outs while sewing to avoid litters.
Well, this little multipurpose organizer was made out of a corned beef can. I could easily put a pen, my eyebrow pencil or my nail pusher when am on a hurry and return them to the right places later on. See, they're all recycled! Next time, I will show you my recycled products when I use my wallpapers one of these days.

Thanks sis! You can start with the paper strips using old calendars and set it aside then go back later. There's no hurry actually. Di nmn Yan mabibilasa sa tabi eh. You can put it inside the bottle or canister until they're enough to be glued. A box is ideal for your yarn organizers. Subukan mo lang sis.:) it's quite fulfilling talaga.Thanks for reading sis.
I remember doing this can in our projects in arts! Quite easy to do, but tedious as well haha.
