APPRECIATION POST: MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATION 💟🤱

Greetings! ❤️ I am your tulip🌷, back again with another blog! Before we start this, I have a quick question. How did you celebrate Mother's Day? Did you make your mother feel like she's also loved and appreciated?

I will say my appreciation message in the end. But first, let us talk about how we celebrated Mother's Day.

Last Sunday, my family and my relatives planned to have a simple celebration of Mother's Day at a certain restaurant called "Dampa" in Bogo City. Around 5 p.m., my mom already told me to get ready since the car of my auntie has arrived, and we will use it to be able to save on the fare because the place is a bit far and the fare is getting quite expensive due to inflation.

While I was in the car, me and my aunties were having a quick chat about the things that I want to pursue in college. While my brother by my side was busy texting someone on his phone.

After half an hour of driving, we finally arrived at our designated place, as, just like I said, it is called "Dampa". The place is called like that because it is basically just built with wood, bamboo, and nipa grass, the materials used to also build a "kubo". Kubo, or payag, is a traditional house in the Philippines; no wonder some Filipinos used this as inspiration to build a simple yet beautiful and relaxing restaurant.

The place looks so pretty because of the lights that are also used as decorations. My brother kept on telling me to take a picture of the place because his camera quality is kind of low, so I had no choice but to take a picture, even though I was kind of shy.

There was even a place that was designed for the customers, especially for the mothers, to have a simple photoshoot in there if they wanted.

I was talking to my brother when our food came, and as usual, every time I see a delicious food, I can't help but take a photo of it as a memory. Just by the looks of it, you can already tell that it is delicious. My mother even ordered additional foods because my younger cousins don't like seafood.

I was really enjoying it and savoring the food until I got full. I was even laughing at my brother because it seems like he wants some more seafood, but his stomach can't take in the food anymore. Most of us are already finished eating and have already washed our hands in the sink on the side.

After a while, some waiters went out to give the mother's free halo-halo as a token of appreciation for the mother's day celebration. They gave us so many halo-halos, so my mom took one and gave it to me because she knows that it's one of my favorites, how sweet.

Even though my mom couldn't see this, I just want to let her know that I love her very much. I love her more than anything in this world. She gave me the life that I wanted with contentment. She nurtured me, dressed me, fought for me, and taught me. She always shows how much she loves me unconditionally. She may not be perfect, but she was the best mother I could possibly wish for.

To all the mothers out there, even if you don't know me, I want to say that I am so proud of all of you. I know that you guys are trying your very best to give your children a better life and a better future. You sacrificed so many things, even if it meant you'd suffer just for your family. Your unconditional love, countless sacrifices, and the things you do for your kids are what truly make you an incredible and extraordinary mother.

There will never be enough words to show how much I adore and appreciate all the good mothers in this world. I wish you all the happiness and peace that you guys truly deserve. Once again, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!💐❤️
