Each week I like to do a quick recap of the things I've started to notice on $HIVE blockchain that are new or a recent update that maybe didn't get enough attention. Granted the article isn't super long I'll then go deeper into my own goals and what that means.
What's New With Hive
I think the biggest thing for me personally has been the addition of the Splinterlands DEC to Grain liquidity pool. I honestly didn't believe it was going to be used as heavily as it currently is being that there's not all that much to land at the moment. Seeing that amount of activity has me actully very hopeful for the future of Splinterlands now.

It highlights this new market and the true power of it to generate revenue for the game and it's players which I believe is going to be a critical part to get us out of this rut we currently find ourselves in. I'm also constantly buying cards, DEC and SPS myself with passive income generated from other blockchains like Wax, Pancakeswap and even steem lol.
Outside of that I haven't seen too many more updates about new things going on. However there was a article that peaked my interest that I feel many people need to start being aware of and that's the drastic overspending of the DHF at the moment which is causing huge negative pressure on the price of Hive and has been for a good year now. I get it that people want these types of things but if it's not producing a profit either it needs to be reworked to become profitable or it needs to be cut out and right now there is extremely poor management of that happening in either direction.
For anyone that has even 10 hive powered up please look into this as it affects you and the future of hive.
$HIVE Goal
Goal: 250,000+ Current: 108,649
From pulling my number last month to this month we can see I've powered up a total of 435 hive or roughly 62 hive powered up per day. That's higher than last weeks which was only coming in at 47 a day but also there's been a little action on hive-engine as well which would take this number a bit higher. Overall very good progression towards that at least 100 hive per day goal which I'm now aiming for.
Now these goals are mainly related to current prices of hive. Being that Hive is only around $0.32 each I'd really want to be around 300 - 400 hive per day but we have to take stepping stones lol.
HBD Goal
Goal: 182,500 Current: 4,157.76
For myself HBD is just something I stack and I don't really buy into. Not unless hive skyrocketed in price then I'd sell some off into HBD but I firmly believe you can make more than that by being active. curating and building through hive itself and not HBD. From last week we added another 55.79 HBD to the pool not too bad!
$LEO Goal
Goal: 150,000+ Current: 137,274
If we compare our numbers together from last week we have an average of a little over 65 LEO per day. Not earth shattering by any means as that's only about a $5 value per day but every bit does add up over time. The primary goal of 150,000 LEO is because I want to hit the top tier rank and at the current rate of LEO we are getting we should be at it before the end of the year.
Splinterlands
The goal here as always is 1 Million SPS and I'm doing my best to push towards that for end of year. We are falling behind a bit as I'd still need nearly 2,000 SPS a day to reach that goal right now. The big plus here is we are stacking much faster then we have been in the past and I'm not also refocusing on building out land again. I do firmly believe that building out land now is going to benefit me greatly when land 2.0 releases which I'm not expecting now till towards the end of the year.

I kind of look at the amount I've got now and don't feel in any great rush to add more, it's an insane stack already.
I'd like to for sure but that means I need to start really investing outside more into hive. I've though about running my own notes for Hive-Engine, Hive etc and building those into revenue streams to help fuel it. I was planning on doing that at the start of the year but talked myself out of it for the time commitment involved lol
I should just do it and also should grow some other passive income streams to flow into this and also I want to start building out a real marketing plan. So lots for sure that I want to do I just need to dedicate some serious hours to it and then hopefully it pays off.

There's always trading of course... Cash out if and when Hive goes > $X, chances are it'll come back down by 10X again and then buy back. Like if we ever hit $3, there'll probably be a future possibility to buy back at $0.30 again.
It's just a matter of being bold I guess!
I haven't been paying attention to splinter. I have never been a good player and began to lose almost ever battle after chaos came out. I wouldn't even know where to start again.
HBD is my obsession but I changed it all out for hive because I missed the last bull. So a hive run and then back to HBD for me. I was making around $60 a month in terest an then cashed it all in for hive in the $.40s so I have a ways to go before I come back.
That was the issue I had in terms of losing every battle to bots. You can actully play again now. I'm back up into champs which is were I was before bots got entered into the game and it's decently rewarding! About 2-3 SPS per battle win plus glint to be used in the shop.
