A Busy Weekend for our Children's Baptismal Preparation

Friday night I fell asleep at 10 PM as I was exhausted for one week of waking up early to bring my son to school with an e-bike. My husband has a lot of jobs this weekend so I am alone with the kids from Friday until Monday.

Woke up late on a Saturday

Yesterday was Saturday so I woke up late at 2 PM with the kids. Although I fell asleep at 10 PM on a Friday, the kids also fell asleep beside me.

I usually do the house chores but I don't cook so much. Friday night I just cooked the chicken legs and the sausages so I won't have any trouble cooking the whole weekend. But I think I am going to enjoy this weekend preparing for something.

Anyway, the whole afternoon of Saturday, I was just busy giving food to the kids.

I took a break and gave myself some me time taking photos of the purple roses in the garden.

I also did an outdoor sketching by the garden.

I continued to give food to the kids as they were always hungry.

After dinner, I made French crepes for the kids. This time, I changed something to my recipe, which tastes better now.

Sunday Plans

We are busy preparing for our children's baptism celebration by the end of the month.

Painting or designing the Welcome Baptism Sign - I started this a few days ago. I just needed to do a calligraphy on it but I am not good at calligraphy. Haha!

Painting or designing the envelopes of the Polaroid travel painting for the guests - I enjoyed painting these mini-flowers so I have six more envelopes to finish.

Video compilation that I need to create on a video-making software of the kids' birth to being toddlers.

Cooking Pork Adobo - I am not sure how can I cook 5 kilos of pork as I always prepare about 1 kg. This is my food preparation for our guests at my children's baptismal celebration. Receiving guests in the Philippines is not my cup of tea and I am not sure if our European guests will love the taste of my pork adobo. Uh oh!

I am just happy to say that I am not overwhelmed and not stressed this weekend being alone with the kids. Fortunately, tomorrow is a Monday and my son has no class tomorrow.

Yay!
