We have an urban legend about Asian Glossy Starling. The bird will become very scary when it makes bad sounds and omens in the house it lands on. usually indicates a death in the house he was going to. Indeed, it has become a belief to this day. Damn really? Haha we might have them here too but I haven't heard any yet since it's mostly coming from old people.. Sometimes I think they judge us from above lol. And I kinda feel like they're watching the house over which is a good thing. They've never done anything destructive in the house tho thankfully (I think those marks in the plants weren't their doing) so I think they respect our space and I also don't touch them.
