Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Feathered friends

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

For this weeks post I am sharing a few shots of birds mostly taken by the pond in Buttonwood Park fairly close to my house, well a short 5 minute car drive, and taken over the last year

Starting with a few young geese I think at this age they look so furry and cute and arent as ornery as they seem to be when they grow into adults, Geese have chased me a few times

Now I believe this is a common grackle
and as silly as it may sound I always kind of feel for birds that have COMMON in their name I mean look at it it doesnt look common to me LOL

Common Grackles are blackbirds that look like they've been slightly stretched. They're taller and longer tailed than a typical blackbird, with a longer, more tapered bill and glossy-iridescent bodies. Grackles walk around lawns and fields on their long legs or gather in noisy groups high in trees, typically evergreens. They eat many crops (notably corn) and nearly anything else as well, including garbage. In flight their long tails trail behind them, sometimes folded down the middle into a shallow V shape.

Next up is an Ibism they are hard to get shots of at least for me, they seem to sense when I am just about in range to get a photos of them and then they fly off further away

Now I could be wrong but i think this is a mallard duck

I really enjoy every picture you share in this post, they are really beautiful. But I really like the picture of the ibism bird that you took while flying, it's really extraordinary, my friend.

Nice reflection on the ibis shot 👍

I loved seeing and knowing the mallard

whuuuut!!!! i loved the photos C: thanks for sharing

Nice shots! Never heard of a grackle before, interesting. Those geese can be mean that's for sure. I've had them come after me several times as well. I hope you're healing up well!

Beautiful photos... When I try to take pictures of birds, they usually fly away as I press the shutter. The result is a beautiful photo with something blurred in the middle 😀
Have a great sunday

haha, sounds like some "adult" geese don't like you.
