I'm happy with how the painting is evolving for trying out a new technique and style. I don't know if I will continue with this kind of style. It's challenging and pushes all my perfectionist buttons ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฐ
This post will be my last update for work in progress. I will be defining and adding highlights. The highlights, refining lines, and blending are my favorite part of the painting.

It's going to be in the 70s for Christmas here in Tulsa, Oklahoma ๐ฑ๐๐๐ I'm going to plant some carrots and potatoes.

I remember when you showed us this work before in a post of yours, honestly it does make a difference, I like how the details were perfected and now look cleaner and smoother, as I said before, the wing details is my favorite part and the way you improved the details like the face... is exposed! Nice!

As the sun was setting, I felt like I was watching a bird fly in the distant sky from the beach.
When I add the highlights and detailing, I'm hoping the bird will look like it is flying off the paper ๐

The next post will be the finished painting. I asked my husband to pick my next subject: car, soccer player, or animal. He asked for a leopard. Now all I have to do is finish the Kingfisher ๐๐๐
