Thank you very much for this post it really helped. I am still having trouble to understand how will any of the cryptocurrencies will eventually decouple from fiat currency. I think that in the near future once we all agree to give the same value in a specific crypto-currency to an item that we want to trade then at that point in time we can start getting away of those common fiat currency used in our everyday life.
Good point. I think it will happen when we can buy our essential goods and services with cryptocurrency.
