Ethereum goes the way of Western Union.

I have waited to mention this.

This transfer has been in the air since July 15th. This one is from me to me so one way or another it should come back or come out the other end - either way it is to me. Still, a month is a long time.

Lesson learned. Default fee structure should not be trusted.

Other transactions go through from this same wallet if I up the fees to above $20.00 per one Ethereum. Having a transaction in the breeze has happened to me several times before

The first time was in 2011 when a litecoin transfer took over a month, unconfirmed, just gray. Again,that was from me to me and it arrived, though I cannot remember at which end.

This happened regularly in late 2016 with nearly every bitcoin transaction I made. Embarrassing that I had to wait up to four hours drinking coffee with a perfect stranger because I had their dollars in my pocket, and they had nothing showing up on their phone. Not fun. Never again will I use bitcoin. I don't care that it is fast now. The word bitcoin makes me sick.

This Ethereum transaction is stuck. The wallet I am using does not have an option to increase the fee. I assume it will bounce back to my account someday. The fee paid for this wonderful gray set of unconfirmed numbers was $0.25 which was the default as I mentioned.

I am liquidating my Ethereum coins yet again. I mined many and liquidated them when they hit $15.00 (too soon).

This time, I have no reason to liquidate them except the fact that transaction fees are high, which makes the coin useless to me. I have to spend over ten dollars for each transfer in order to make sure it goes through. Crypto is supposed to be Cross Boarder, Instant, and Free (or nearly so).

Last month, Bitshares withdrawals were non existent. Now they are lightning fast.

Last month I tried every interface and all of them were i386 or worse, that is to say, sluggish! When I entered a withdrawal, I would see the confirmation pop-up about four hours later. Trades were even slower to bring up the confirm box.

As of a week or so ago, The Ex-lax took affect, and I can trade again.

Last night, I could not help but snap up some Bitshares at well under ten cents each. Of course, all my Ethereum is on the chopping block.

Gateways are all working well too. Though I don't use them every day, I will be sending five Ethereum at a time and attaching those $20.00 fees until all my Ethereum is gone. Confidence in a coin is important. My Ethereum will be gone because the confidence is gone.

I don't give a rats ass what happens in the U.S. Elections. I love watching the drama though. I see the Hilary crowd and her handlers taking revenge on the conservatives by banning one after another from having a voice.

I see a list of reasons saying, "Don't vote Republican" with no real platform saying why to vote Democrat.

The same tactics that brought us Trump are being employed x1000 which means we can expect an end to the Democratic party, no matter how much they spend.

This will be interesting to say the least.

I get my news from countries around me. Hilary spends a lot of her time in New Zealand, just south of me. She, of all people, should see how the news outside of the USantivA is reporting all of this.
