As far back as the pharaonic dynasties to modern day governments - across all cultures; ordinary men and women have constantly sought to crush tranny, wherever it may rise. In all established societies (past and current) - it's the ordinary masses who've gone to battle - and continue to battle for their version of "freedom". However, power always seems to comfortably land within the prehensile hands of the established elite - to never trickled down to the masses.

The great work of Satoshi et al has led us this far; we now have tools that we can use to reach freedom by consensus. We can now vividly see the potential of decentralized systems - at the cusp of a truly free global community. Nonetheless, prudence and history persuade us to act with awareness - and to act swiftly!
Decentralization is the new wave. This wave of innovation may turn out to be a tsunami that wipes out all of our freedoms if it falls in the wrong hands. The past decade has seen blockchain evolve from an idea amongst enthusiast into the main driving force of innovation. Sadly, the majority of society has a vague understanding of blockchain - if any at all.

Ironically, for blockchain to truly succeed, it needs mass adoption from ordinary people. But ordinary people can't touch or feel blockchain, to them, it's a cybernetic mystery they would rather not delve into. The majority of people don't want to disrupt their ordinary lives.

Consequently, we now have decentralized systems that are slowly being centralized in the hands of those who know. A bridge between the digital and the physical needs to be fostered, urgently. Blockchain needs to invest in brick and mortar infrastructure - in Decentralized Physical Communities.
