RE: BitShares Hangout (ep #87) | 2018-10-13 | Sat @12:00PM UTC | OpenSource Agenda [Powered by Bitsharestalk.io!]

Just the other day I wanted to get back into BTS and learn more about EOS. I was trying to remember my sources from months ago. Glad I found you.

Besides you, do you have any suggested links that I can bookmark to get a quick current events update on BTS, EOS, Larimers, and relevant parties? I am broadly focused at the moment. Someplace I could spend a few minutes at the end of my day to check for new developments

Sort:

Make every effort to get on discord tomorrow for this meetup. After it concludes, for about an hour and a half afterwards, we have the "after party" which is a free for all.

You can listen in, text chat, or voice chat.. The amount of information divulged in the after parties make it well worth attending.

It's kind of funny, after the Bitshares talk concludes. NO ONE leaves... they hang on just for the after party that comes afterwards.

It sounds like it will be right up your alley. If you are new to discord, firing it up today and checking your mic transmit is a good idea. Discord is full of channels. (I don't know how experienced you are at discord -- if you have used it a lot, I apologize... I simply don't know)

Also a cell phone alarm on your phone is the easiest way to have it go off, and remind you the conference is starting... I always set a cell phone alarm to go off.

I am most likely going to be on the road or shopping so probably won't be their live. And thanks, yeah Discord is my go to. I am looking forward to the day when EOS has its own news medium like all those Bitcoin News websites. It deserves it.

BTW, I am a professional writer and take a lot of jobs in crypto, so if anyone else is looking to put together a news site, I would love to join that as well.

Be sure to see whaleshares.io -- its grass roots at the moment, but it's gaining momentum.

....and it's a lot more than just a blogging crypto that is going to take the industry by storm with token utilization (coming soon).

Also, have you been investigating Telos? It's an EOS fork but it paid attention to a more widely, and fair distribution. I am just learning about it myself.

Heard of Telos, but never looked into it. And ty, signed up for whaleshares. Token Utilization? Care to share what is planned?

It's starting with whale tokens at the moment. See this different website:

whaleshares.info

...but more is coming.

How would one add a token to the Whaleshares.info list?
