It's that time of year again and I couldn't resist taking photos around my yard. While taking this photo, I noticed the campfire smoke behind the maples and actually forgot to take photos when I later visited the neighbor's campfire.
We've been traveling quite a bit lately and we were surprised to come back to find that our lake had receded so much. We have had a very warm summer with little rainfall.
I'm not sure what this tree is, but I thought was very pretty for a photo.
This is our neighbor's old dock that we claimed simply to stop some erosion, plus, I think it's got a lot of character for photography :)
Bullrushes are normally deemed an invasive hard to kill weed, but I like the contrast they give when they are dying in the fall.
Hope you enjoyed my post because it was a beautiful day to take photos!!

Love that old dock! It might work out if you get a bit of a flood, toow... No eagle coming down for fish on the other dock, that day! I still say get one of those huge water balloon launchers and launch fish up in the air for them to catch :-D
Haaaa, that would be too fun! Fed the eagles yesterday and I guess we have been gone too long. They actually waited until I left, then went and stood on that old dock...the minute I got my camera out, they were gone. Tsk tsk :)
The tree with the berries reminds me of a chinaberry tree
The Best is to be fall in love.. in Fall! 😊

Beautiful pictures ! In Europe it still feels like summer, 25* Celsius and very sunny.
