Always Excited to Try a New Place!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Green Jacket Restaurant for my birthday. We were both excited to experience the modern contemporary decor, comfortable seating, and simple yet well done menu. From the moment we stepped in, we could tell that this restaurant was going to be an unforgettable experience.The decor was modern contemporary with vibrant colors and sleek furniture that gave it a chic vibe. The seating was comfortable with plush cushions and plenty of room for us to move around without feeling cramped. The menu was simple yet well done with a variety of dishes that were sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.

The Appetizers
Appetizers are a great way to get the party started. Whether it's a dinner party or an event, appetizers can be the perfect way to start off your meal. My wife and I decided to try the fried calamari rings and lobster wontons. The calamari was cooked perfectly and had a great crispy texture. The lobster wontons were also delicious and was plated in a a fun yet posh way!Both dishes were amazing and definitely set the tone for an unforgettable night!

These delicious little wontons are filled with succulent lobster meat and come with a bean sprout garnish that adds a nice crunch. The wontons are plated with a flavored foam that gives them an extra layer of flavor and texture. The result is a great combination of taste and texture that will have your mouth watering for more!

The Main Course
The chicken roulade
My wife ordered the chicken roulade as the main course and it was plated artistically with a delicious sauce. The chicken roulade had red runchy chips for texture and the plate even had a monogram on it. It was definitely one of the chicken based meals we've had in a while!
The Crab cake
She also ordered a crab cake that was to die for! It was smothered in a caramelized cheese and the texture and flavors complemented each other well!
THE STEAK
I ordered the steak (medium) with mashed potatoes and a mushroom sauce, I was delighted with the result. The steak was perfectly cooked and very juicy, while the mashed potatoes were seasoned to perfection. But what really stood out for me was the mushroom sauce - it was so addictive and paired well with both the steak and potatoes. This was one of the best steaks I had ever had!
Dessert
My wife got a strawberry & raspberry cheesecake mousse garnished with fruit salsa. The flavors were varied and delicious, making it very satisfying. The cheesecake mousse was light and creamy with the perfect balance of sweetness from the strawberries and tartness from the raspberry sauce. The fruit salsa added an extra layer of flavor that made this dessert truly stand out and the bean sprouts as well as some other white crunchy garnish added a bit of great texture to the whole thing!
My complementary birthday plate
Celebrating birthdays is always a special occasion, but when you get to enjoy a delicious restaurant's complementary christmas cake with a scoop of ice cream on top, topped with a lit candle/sparkler, it just makes the day even better. I literally forgot that they did this. It was free and so it tasted even better. It was such an unexpected surprise that made my birthday celebration extra special.
Conclusion
After a such a great birthday,there was nothing better than ending it with a delicious meal with my wife. The Green Jacket restaurant provided just that with its nice decor, great food, and satisfying desserts. It was the perfect place for an enjoyable birthday dinner and a great way to end the day!
