As the world of Project Zomboid continues to evolve, I've noticed the yearning among the community for increased immersion and realism. Our shared post-apocalyptic world, harrowing as it may be, has been the perfect setting to innovate and create mods that supplement the existing lore, and today I am thrilled to present my latest creation: the BROtv '92 mod.

As you are well aware, the events of Project Zomboid take place starting in 1992. What better way to immerse ourselves in this time period than by revisiting some of the most significant events and moments from the year 1992?
That's right, the BROtv '92 mod replaces your in-game TV screen and TV/Radio sounds with events from 1992. From the LA Riots and Clinton's election to the debut of Cartoon Network and Nirvana's live performances, you can now experience these monumental moments right within the confines of your digital shelter.
Simply press "Tune In" or change the channel, and you'll get a new clip from 1992. The full audio clips will play during the early game when TV shows are still broadcasted and when you put a VHS tape in and press Play. This feature also applies to radio channels, adding an additional layer of authenticity to your survival experience.
In the most recent updates, I've made sure that the sound now fades in and out with distance, providing a 3D spatial audio experience that adds to the immersive quality of the game.
I hope you'll enjoy this mod as much as I enjoyed creating it. It's a small window into the past, a reminder of the world that once was. Let's keep the spirit of the 90s alive, even in the face of the zombie apocalypse.
