Hey ya'll! I've missed hanging out in Steemit with you! It's good to be back. A lot of people in America would say 2017 was a bad year. For the terrible things that HAVE happened, I would not disagree. However, me and my own have had an awesome year, and though I am poor at photo documentation, I did my best to keep some records of all my projects. Enjoy!

We moved into a cute little house downtown in the Spring, and throughout the summer/fall, whenever I got a free afternoon here and there, I worked on our backyard homestead. Here's the progress from bare dirt to current stage, it's still not finished but I've finally got a plantable garden and breakfast patio/backyard concert stage.

And started a flock! Small flock, you can only have 10 chickens in city limits here :/

Meanwhile, we were growing a bunch of food at a garden I planted for a client last year and they requested my management of it.

Here's some of the produce from that garden. First one, I grew two types of bell peppers and look! They hybridized! Second one, our carrots went insane, we had half a 4x8 raised bed of carrots and we ended up with about 55 pounds of carrots. This photo isn't even half of the harvest.

Another fun project from this year, which is still ongoing but lots of progress. My parents, brothers and I are building a cabin out in the foothills of the Rockies! Got the exterior frame, siding, and roof on this year.

The last and MOST important project of all, marrying the love of my life, Brittany :)
