Having an organic illness could affect both your mind and your body, in the opposite side, mental disorder and not the complicated ones, only affects you for a certain amount of time then your body will adapt to the situation,
From a personal experience i ve been to mental illness and coped with it well. As it's extravagantly spread all over the world,
How to beat it.?
First dont feel pity and think less about yourself.
Never accept the fact that you are ill
Practice your activities regularly like nothing happened and avoid living in the past
Keep your mind busy thinking about your future endeavors
Never stop learning because equipping new skills will certainly help you to move on and get on

If you haven't any mental diseases, don't ignore the fact that you are exposed to any, because you can never predict the changes, and you know what they say an apple à day keeps the doctor away, in this case Apple heals the body but the brain heals its self by being reprogrammed, and you are your own savior
And don't get pissed off taking meds, that ll only set your bain to accept the involvement of new memories that could store and preserve so make sure of being attentif of the sort of the new memories you consume and live, try to make it positive because it's the commandor in chief of what's gonna happens next
