Hola amigos, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y que este fin de semana hayan descansado bastante. Por mi parte, pude descansar pero a la vez disfrutar de mi fin de semana, tuve tiempo de visitar a mis papás y a mi sobrino, pasear con Fer y por supuesto, algo que me encanta, pude conocer lugares nuevos.
En esta oportunidad el turno fue para la pastelería de Alexandra Castro que aunque lleva 10 años preparando postres deliciosos, no fue si no hasta este año que pudo abrir su local y realmente me da mucha felicidad por ella ya que la conozco desde pequeña y siempre he admirado su trabajo.

As for me, I was able to rest but at the same time enjoy my weekend, I had time to visit my parents and my nephew, take a walk with Fer and of course, something that I love, I was able to see new places.
This time it was the turn of Alexandra Castro's bakery. Although she has been preparing delicious desserts for 10 years, it was not until this year that she was able to open her shop and I am really happy for her because I have known her since I was a little girl and I have always admired her work.
El lugar queda ubicado en el norte de la ciudad y aunque es bastante pequeño sin duda es igual de acogedor, cuenta con una terraza bastante amplia que al parecer en el momento no estaba habilitada por lo que estuvimos en la parte de adentro cosa que me gustó ya que pude conocer y tomar lindas fotos.
En el menú encontramos algunos postres, entradas, platos salados, pizzas, sándwiches, bebidas calientes como café, bebidas frías, entre otras cositas más. Como era de tarde, nosotros queríamos disfrutar de un café y un rico postre por lo que junto a Fer pedimos un Cappuccino cada uno y pedimos el asesoramiento de Ale para la parte del postre, ella nos recomendó el Cookie Monster que consta de pudín de chocolate con capas de arequipe, trufa, trocitos de galleta, chips de chocolate, cubierto con buttercream de galleta y drip de trufa.
Mientras esperábamos nuestra orden pude ver y tomar algunas fotos del lugar y de los deliciosos postres que habían en la vitrina, me gustó mucho la luz cálida del lugar, lo fresco que se sentía y por supuesto, que nuestra perrita Maya nos pudo acompañar durante esta linda tarde.
The place is located in the north of the city and although it is quite small it is undoubtedly equally cozy, it has a large terrace that apparently at the time was not enabled so we were in the inside which I liked because I could know and take nice pictures.
In the menu we found some desserts, appetizers, savory dishes, pizzas, sandwiches, hot drinks such as coffee, cold drinks, among other things. As it was in the afternoon, we wanted to enjoy a coffee and a delicious dessert so together with Fer we ordered a Cappuccino each and asked for Ale's advice for the dessert part, she recommended the Cookie Monster which consists of chocolate pudding with layers of arequipe, truffle, cookie pieces, chocolate chips, covered with cookie buttercream and truffle drip.
While we were waiting for our order I could see and take some pictures of the place and the delicious desserts that were in the showcase, I really liked the warm light of the place, how fresh it felt and of course, that our dog Maya could accompany us during this nice afternoon.
Llegó nuestra orden y aunque el postre suena un poco empalagoso nos sorprendió muchísimo que tiene partes dulces y a la vez partes saladas que hacen el contraste perfecto, el pudin era húmedo por lo que fue toda una explosión de sabor en cada bocado. Tuvo un valor de $18.500 pesos Colombianos ($4.85 Dólares) y la porción fue perfecta para compartir entre los dos ya que era bastante grande. Debo decir que soy amante loca del chocolate y este postre en sí, me fascino. A parte, al combinarlo con un cappuccino sin azúcar fue el toque perfecto.
Our order arrived and although the dessert sounds a bit cloying we were very surprised that it has both sweet and salty parts that make the perfect contrast, the pudding was moist so it was an explosion of flavor in every bite. It cost $18,500 Colombian pesos ($4.85 dollars) and the portion was perfect to share between the two of us since it was quite big. I must say that I am a crazy chocolate lover and this dessert itself fascinated me. Besides, combining it with a sugar-free cappuccino was the perfect touch.
No sé ustedes pero yo cuando como algo dulce automáticamente se me abre el apetito para comer algo salado para balancear jaja y por supuesto, aprovechando que uno de los chicos que atienden en el lugar nos recomendó los ''Deditos Olaya'' que contienen muchísimo queso y vienen acompañados de una salsa miel picante y una salsa de yogurt griego + pesto, no podíamos irnos del lugar sin probarlos.
La porción viene x5 unidades, son bastante gorditos pero lo mejor de esto es que lo que les da ese grosor es la cantidad de queso que tienen por dentro ya que su masa es delgada. No sé que estaba más rico si la salsa miel picante o la de yogurt + pesto, de verdad que esta opción de entrada estuvo increíble aunque nosotros la consumimos a la ''salida'' jaja. Tuvieron un valor de $17.000 pesos Colombianos ($4.46 Dólares)
I don't know about you but when I eat something sweet it automatically whets my appetite to eat something salty to balance it out haha and of course, taking advantage that one of the guys who attend the place recommended us the ''Deditos Olaya'' that contain lots of cheese and are accompanied by a spicy honey sauce and a Greek yogurt + pesto sauce, we couldn't leave the place without trying them.
The portion comes x5 units, they are quite plump but the best thing about this is that what gives them that thickness is the amount of cheese they have inside since their dough is thin. I don't know what was better if it was the spicy honey sauce or the yogurt + pesto sauce, this entry option was really amazing although we consumed it at the ''exit'' haha. They had a value of $17.000 Colombian pesos ($4.46 dollars).
Sin duda nos encantó visitar esta pastelería, todos los postres lucen deliciosos y solo con leer sus ingredientes en el menú provocan inmediatamente, Ale es super amable con todos sus clientes y te asesora de la mejor manera, tiene un espacio muy lindo y acogedor. Me encantaría volver en otra ocasión para probar sus pizzas, sándwiches o quizá enamorarme de otro de sus postres. De momento puedo decir que fue un Domingo increíble, Maya y yo aprobamos este lugar 🐶🩵.

Without a doubt we loved visiting this bakery, all the desserts look delicious and just by reading their ingredients on the menu they immediately provoke, Ale is super friendly with all her customers and advises you in the best way, she has a very nice and cozy space. I would love to come back another time to try their pizzas, sandwiches or maybe fall in love with another of their desserts. For now I can say that it was an amazing Sunday, Maya and I approve of this place 🐶🩵.
