Hi there, basketball fans how are you all doing today and are you a little bit excited about the bubble playoffs edition of the NBA? Heck, I am as I missed watching basketball. Even though it is a bit weird without the crowd cheering it is still basketball. Corona has sure made some mess in the world but at least we get to watch some basketball. So guys here are some of my predictions for the playoffs matchups.
I think this will be a tough matchup for the Lakers because honestly, Portland should off never been the 8th. They have struggled with injuries all season but they got Nurkic back now. He is playing like a beast alongside Damian, Anthony, and Mccollum. It will surely be a tough matchup for the number 1 seed the Lakers.But, I think they just don't have anyone to match up with Lebron and Davis.
- My Prediction - Lakers take the series 4-2
Well, this is one interesting matchup especially because it has been reported Westbrook might miss the first few games. Oklahoma has been playing good team basketball all season and Huston is one high powered offense. I expect to see a lot of points and entertaining games. But, without Westbrook, I predict an upset. I don't think Harden can carry the series alone.
- Thunder take the series 4-3
I think Jokic the Joker will be too much for the Jazz in this series. Plus not to mention Jazz is without Bogdanovic their 2nd leading scorer. I think Conely is the X factor in these series.
- My Prediction - Nuggets take the series 4-2
I think this is for me personally the most entertaining matchup of all because I love to watch Luka Doncic- The Wonder Boy. As a basketball player, I love the way he plays. The kid truly got it all to become one of the greatest. But, truth be told, I do not think he has enough backup to shock The Claw and Clippers long roster full of great players. But, who knows, maybe Luca can perform a miracle?
- Clippers Take The Series 4-1
I think this one is the easiest to predict out of all the matchups and it is pretty straight forward. I think Giannis and the bucks will dominate the series.
- My Prediction - Bucks take the series 4-0
This should be an interesting matchup and very hard to predict no doubt. Even though Pacers are gonna miss Sabonis they still played pretty good basketball in the bubble. Plus it will be interesting to the Butler and Warren beef matchup. lol I think this is the most even matchup in the first round.
- My Prediction- Heat Take The Series 4-2
I would pick this as the toughest matchup to predict if Simmons did not get injured. Plus Embiid also had injury problems in the bubble. Both teams full of young talent looking to prove themselves. It sure will be an interesting matchup to watch. Will Embiid be enough for the Philly? I don't think so.
-My Prediction - Boston Take The Series 4-1
Just as the Bucks series this one is easy to predict and I would be very surprised if Nets even take the game from the defending champs who are playing great basketball the entire season. If Kyrie and Durant were playing this would be a whole different story. But like this, I don't see the Nets taking a single game.
- My Prediction - Raptors Take The Series 4-0
Anyways, guys, those are my predictions. I am just glad to see basketball is back on TV to enjoy. Even though in very odd circumstances. It will be very interesting to see who can out of this bubbly situation in Orlando as an NBA Champion. I would love to hear your predictions on the first round and who do you pick to take it all?
