Liverpool (2019 UEFA Champions League winners) will face last season semifinalist in a clash dubbed “the expert (Jurgen Klopp) Vs the amateur (Julian Nalgesmann)”, while Chelsea will be going up against Athletico Madrid who has had a couple of good games this season.
Manchester City F.C will face Borussia Monchengladbach who are into the round of 16 for the first time in four decades. Reigning Champions Bayern Munich will face Serie A team Lazio who are also in the knockout stages for the first time in 2 decades.
However, there is a repeat of a classic 2017 tie as Barcelona FC face Paris St-Germain in what is arguably the tie of the round even as PSG might be without Neymar for the tie which is out through injury.
