Stepping into Laby Tea Shop, I was impressed not only by its elegant space but also by its uniqueness and sophistication in decoration. Located on the 6th, 7th and 8th floors of an apartment building, Laby offers customers unique experiences of enjoying tea such as drinking coffee in a quiet space, drinking coffee near the infinity pool and drinking coffee at highest terrace.
Firstly, parking in the basement and taking the elevator to the 6th floor was not a hindrance, but rather part of the exciting journey of exploring Laby. Right from the 1st floor, I was greeted by a vibrant flower car, creating a captivating focal point and an ideal spot for photos, especially for female visitors. Upon reaching the 6th floor, visitors are greeted with a serene ambiance characterized by a predominant white color tone.
Laby's space is decorated with hanging dried flowers, which adds to the natural beauty and charm of the space. The delicate arrangement of a row of dried flowers further enhances the appeal of this floor.
What sets Laby cafe apart is its meticulous attention to detail, with colorful Bearbricks decorated in each corner of the cafe.
The toilets, impeccably maintained and divided into separate rooms for men and women, reflect the establishment's commitment to providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests.The gentle, melodious music and quiet space make this place a place that I absolutely love.
The restaurant owner's dedication to decoration is evident in every aspect of Laby, down to the smallest details. Even the hand washing area is decorated with fragrant flowers and the gentle scent of perfume. The restaurant owner has created a highlight from the smallest details but is enough to satisfy customers.
In addition to its day-to-day charm, Laby Tea Shop also invests generously in thematic decorations for various occasions and holidays.
During traditional Vietnamese Tet holidays, the ambiance is imbued with the spirit of the occasion. Guests are greeted by the sight of banh chung (square glutinous rice cake), vibrant red lanterns, blossoming red flowers, and lucky red envelopes (li xi) symbolizing prosperity and good fortune.
Similarly, during the Christmas season, Laby transforms into a cozy winter wonderland adorned with Christmas trees, festive decorations, delightful gifts, plush toy animals, jingling bells, and the soothing melodies of Christmas carols.
The 7th floor is where you can enjoy Laby's tea space next to the swimming pool, this interesting place is a favorite place for children and young people. This is a special feature that Laby offers, where customers not only enjoy delicious tea but also the fresh air of the cool green space.
Meanwhile, the 8th floor is where you can enjoy romantic, quiet moments on the terrace, where you can admire the view from above while enjoying the cool breeze and sipping a cup of coffee high tea. This is truly an ideal destination for young people who love the rooftop space and are always looking for new places to check-in. This place is designed in a simple style with many potted plants and beautiful scenery. The surroundings make customers feel extremely comfortable.
Regarding laby's drink menu, it is really diverse and different. I didn't know what to drink when looking at the menu, I had never tried these drinks. Menu includes drinks such as coffee, lemon rose, mango peach, orange hibiscus mango, hibicus jasmine peach, matcha with cream milk, coffee with coconut and green bean, pandan golden lotus and cream milk tea, delicaty tea, cocoa egg cream , matcha with cream milk, pink guava tea, tea with pandan and aloe vera jelly, orange jasmine tea, orange tea llemongrassand hibiscus, black milk tea, olong grilled coconut egg cream, cocoa egg cream. In addition, there are many drinks for those who love bananas such as young green rice + banana ice cream, black tea + banana + macchiato, oolong milk tea + banana + strawberry, jasmine banana tea, banana yogurt, banana avocado smoothie, etc.
I had the pleasure of trying the Ô Mai flavored milk tea, an intriguing blend that merges the beloved Vietnamese snack with the popular beverage. Traditionally, Ô Mai has been cherished by Vietnamese people as a delightful snack with a multitude of unique flavors.
Derived from black apricot fruit, Ô Mai is prepared by infusing the fruit with dried ginger or licorice powder, creates a delicious and healthy dish.
At the tea shop, intrigued by the staff's recommendation, I decided to try the apricot milk tea for the first time. The initial sip was a revelation - a delightful combination of sweet and slightly sour notes that danced on my taste buds. Topped with crispy white bubble pearl, the texture added an unexpected crunch that complemented the creamy texture of the milk tea perfectly.
What really makes this drink different is the salty and sour apricots in the tea cup. Drinking milk tea while sucking on the salty and sour apricots is an odd but delicious delight.
