I've now been teaching for close to 20 years. During the last 20 years, I have taught thousands of students, and I have seen them gradually become better than me at computer programming, maths, dancing, basketball, tennis and anything else I've taught them.

However, this will stop at typing. I will make sure that I stay at the top no matter what. Then they can keep on improving their typing skill.

In the last youtube video I made about typing, where I challenged the internet to find if anyone can type faster than me, I only typed 140 words a minute. I thought that was pretty fast, but my students started practising at school. At lunchtimes I saw them come into the library and just practice typing all lunch. Eventually, a student came to me and said they can type 135 words per minute.

That surprised me a little. 135 is very close to 140. So I decided to practice a little bit and make another video. Here is the result. Please watch to decide for yourself, whether you think anyone can catch me.

Wow, 164 is really fast. When I saw the video where you wrote 140, I said it's too fast and now you've improved it. What I'm wondering is, if your students can already write 135, can they beat you if they practice enough on it? I'm sure they can at least be close.
for sure. I watched the world championships though on youtube and they're around 160/170. So yeah getting to near impossible speeds.I don't think our fingers are designed to move much faster :)
