You know what's funny about this video? You made a point about where some of your winnings come from. Mine is also the same. I create content. I enjoy it and I try to publish stuff as often as possible. However, a huge chunk of my winnings and the things I value about Hive goes beyond the content I create. Hive fundamentally offers a whole lot of stuff to people and it's not just enough to be 100% focused on churning out posts.

This is something that can't be made up. It's also something that can be learned from folks like you, but, sometimes, those that truly need to hear it are not attentive enough to get the gist while those that get it fail to put it into pratice.

Thankfully, the blockchain is immutable. All that has been said and done are recorded. For those who care to listen, good. For those who don't, well I wish them the best. Opportunities will come and go. Takes for stopping by.

Many people have mentioned the fact that one cant exactly get to their goals fast enough by just creating content and there's so much truth to it. Research shows that people who listen and take note of every single detail have higher chances of excelling.

Many people need to watch this video as there's a lot to learn from it.

Lol spread the word. Thanks for watching. I did reply this commnet yesterday. Seems most of my comments where not broadcasted on the change

That's strange. What could be the reason behind that.

Wow...what a word from you Nonso. Glad I came across this video. Thanks for the wisdom you poured on us via this video

Indeed there is more to only publishing a post in hive. I have stayed here to understand that one just need to bend down and benefit from other ways aside publishing and what if the community I think supports me changes? It was another word that left the into a deeper thought

I got value Nonso
Thanks for your time 😍

I replied this commnet two days ago. I am just noticing it wasn't posted.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by

This is one thing we all should constantly think of. I am always involved in multiple things to mitigate this because I have seen it happen several times.

I got corrected on something I've been thinking wrongly about post creation, thanks for that.

And yeah, many would miss this... I saw the title and bookmarked for watch later because I saw it as important to me.

People pay attention to what is important to them, we can only hope that the Nigerians will find Hive naija an important aspect of their Hive journey.

Thanks for sharing this with us Boss, it is very much appreciated by me 🙌

I replied this comment yesterday, I don't know why it did not show. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and taking your time to watch, I appreciate it.

Yes, many of us don't pay attention and we miss out on a lot of things and then blame others for our misfortunes. That needs to change. If we apply our minds and heart the right way, we will see noticeable changes.

Haha it happens to me a lot of times. I'm glad I stopped by.

You've said it, we hope for the best 🙌

I learned a lot from this. Thanks for sharing. Most of the things I learned about Hive was through reading other people's post and at first, it wasn't easy. But when you read, you get informed, you know what's happening around you and what to do to achieve success

Thank you for stopping by. I am glad you learnt a thing or two. Do try to participate in this week's hivenaija prompt. We need more active individuals in our community. Big things are coming soon. We just need to position ourselves

I'm glad I could learn something new from you. Sometimes I feel like I know nothing about Hive, but I don't! 😆. Reading and paying attention to posts have made me know certain things.
Yes!! I will😌

I watched this and realized that I still have a long way to go myself.

Even I am not exempted. We all need to imbibe good habits so that we can leverage opportunities when they come.

I don't think it's all about paying attention to important information. First, it's about reading the post. As long as the post is read, one surely would come across the captivating details. Sometimes it's not being lackadaisical, it's about blending one's online and offline job, it could be frustrating that engagement becomes too hard.

And You've rightly said, creating contents alone doesn't take one up the ladder, there's more to benefit than just the content creation. And sometimes it's not the vote weight that pulls people, my elder brother left hive because a community he engage in doesn't give feedback on his story even though he was making some dollars . He was interested in feedback because he wanted to grow in his penmanship but was getting none. So sometimes people are committed to something for different reasons.

Personally I love the hive naija community because they give feedback. This alone shows one's post was read, and it's a relief. Most community doesn't even have a huge HP, so HP is not much a thing to worry about.
There may be a lot happening on the chain all for different reasons.

There are days I rank 3rd in engagement on the Ecency dapp and there are days I'm not even among the first 50. So, hive could be a funny place with different people around. So sometimes we may not even know a post was created and that's the reason I once suggested a mention on users who had once shown interest

I used to work 12 hours daily and still make out time to engage and create content. At the end of the day it all boils down to the individual and what they prioritise. Also paying attention is synonymous with reading, I don't see how they differ. If one isn't paying attention they are either not reading important updates or skimping through posts.

And sometimes it's not the vote weight that pulls people, my elder brother left hive because a community he engage in doesn't give feedback on his story even though he was making some dollars

I have addressed this severally, no one really owes anymore views, comments, or upvotes. This is why we create communities to bring people with similar interests together to make this whole process of engaging easy.

It doesn't matter how good a post is, people won't engage with it if they don't see the value in engaging. Even as a creator here for the past 4 years, there are days I don't get comments. I still make effort to engage and hope it is reciprocated.

I appreciate everyone who take out time to read and participate. I understand we all have our individual lives and struggles, and I understand that we all cannot give our 100%. For those who can contribute in any capacity I am willing to work with them. There is no room for excuses anymore. Other communities are achieving great things. We need all need to do better.

I stand with your final words..... "We all need to do better"

Thanks

now i understand why am not getting alot of engagement, i haven't had time to go through others content and engage will try to do some more work on hive been lying passive in a while

I suck at engaging and I'm like that even on other social media platforms. I might read a post but to start replying will be a huge problem for me though I've been trying to rectify that. Even if I can't engage many, I try to engage the little I can every day.

I like the things you point out in the video. Was able to learn a thing or two.
