This is hive open mic week #214. My name is mamab and I'm so excited to give you a warm welcome to this week's edition of the concert. It has been an interesting week with so many activities though. I missed last week's edition due to busy schedule and this is already the end of another week, I hope to post earlier next time.
Talking about the theme for the week which is "Take me home" it was proposed by @starstrings. A big Hi to him for the beautiful choice.
I will be presenting a beautiful song by Elijah Oyelade. I have done one of his songs previously on the hive open mic concert. He is a man of grace and his songs are full of power. So I chose "Take me to the place" as my interpretation of the theme for this week. The song is a personal cry and submission to God. He is the only Rock of ages, we can run and hide in Him when we are faced with issues of life. He is the source of security, covering and peace we can ever think or imagine. When things are falling apart, we can trust Him for stability because His foundation is sure.
The best prayer to pray when all is said and done is for God to take us to His dwelling place. The Bible paraphrase, says in His presence is fullness of joy. In His presence there is assurance of of love and wholeness.
