Good day, Hiveans! Day 2 of my work ended but I’m still trying to manage my time balancing my work with my interests. Things may seem hard nevertheless seeing the progress is worth it. How about you readers/bloggers in the community? I hope you can manage your time well and are in a fine situation as you read my post today.
My husband and I were focusing on our job, so we had no time to roam around capturing beautiful scenery. I was checking the photos stored in his drive and stumbled across these pictures.
I think one of the hobbies of my husband was ordering online. His month would not be complete if he could not purchase online.
The first year of marriage according to them was tough. The first misunderstanding we encountered in our first year of marriage was when he purchased online without asking my permission. Purchasing online was fine since he had a job that could pay for the purchase. The problem was, I believe that if you’re a married couple, you must not act alone. All the things that you do have been approved together. That’s what I thought about marriage. After the misunderstanding, he would tell me beforehand if he wanted another purchase.
Before we got married, I already knew about his interests in life. He had two relationships before me. These are the sound system and his motorcycle bike. These are his stress relievers and now we are married, these are my sources of stress. These interests of his have no ending. Every year he needs to upgrade these things. All I can do is extend my patience and understanding because it is his way of diverting the negative emotions he had while dealing with his work.
Now, I need to have extra patience and understanding of his interest in the sound system because not only did he make a sound system inside our house, but it was extended to our 4-wheel vehicle. When I asked him why he needed to install a sound system in the car? He answered, “It’s his way to stay awake while driving since I always sleep during a long trip. “My husband always used reverse psychology in me, I cannot react since it’s true. It is like hitting two birds with one stone. The good thing is I’m now the first client to benefit from all his interests. I may find it stressful at first but in the long run, it helps me too. Music and travel help to release stress too. I have no choice about it, I need to move forward and think of the good side.
